Lol, congratulations Cornish on the 10000th post, wonder if this year is a record for posting? Hope the car doesn't cost too much to get it done. I am still being lazy, I haven't moved off the sofa all morning but starting to get a bit peckish so I might put an early lunch on and done with.

I have been doing some rating on C all morning, I havent had any more surveys though. I havent checked T yet this morning so might be some on there to do.

  • Hope you are having a fab day Savvy.

About to go hit the big mr t with ds2, to grab some nice nibbles and food for their school party. I hope it is not too mental. I figure, get some bits now, less to buy next week when it is heaving.

    Happy birthday Savvy!

Legend - well done on post 10001 lol xx

Well I've decided to cancel my exam until after Christmas, its too much hassle to revise and I've got so much on at the moment! OH has broken his hand, so although he will still try hard to help he can't do the wrapping or any lifting for a month! Argh!
I've pretty much finished my shopping now, just got the food shop to do which I will do next week and then some wrapping still to do but the majority is done! Yay!
I went on a market research event last night, got paid £40 for 2 hours, and am on the 2nd part of the product trial on Friday which is another £45 so I will be starting next year up already!
Just want to say to everyone a massive thank you for making this thread so enjoyable to be a part of - I feel like I really have made some good friends

Right off for a cuppa x

  • Hi

I recently made a notice board the other day as my mum wanted one for Christmas. I decided to try my hand at making one and it turned out so well that I just had to share it.
I just brought a cork notice board from Dunelm (£2.99) and stuck some wadding on using spray mount. This was then covered in fabric and stapled to the back. I then used ribbon in a criss-cross pattern and used paper fasteners to secure where the ribbons crossed. I glued little jewels on the top of the paper fasteners to make it look a bit prettier.
I think it cost about £10 and that was buying new fabric as well. If you had some fabric at home you could obviously use that and it would cost a lot less.
