  • Thanks Elysia,
Yeah I think there should be someway to report them - their exact words were [FONT=&quot]Your account has been suspended from posting and redeeming as we find that you are posting with the intent on using most of those posts to redeem for Amazon vouchers. - bah! I never mentioned on here that I was a member because I thought that was how they were finding people and kicking them off. I did send them a response saying they should make it clear in their t&cs if thats what they want but obviously they never replied.

Thanks for the piney link and yes please do find me if I dont sign up to the new thread, as it will only be because i cant find it, love this thread, and you lovely ladies (and gents?) have really helped me with the money making as well as providing entertaining reading

  • I'm back. Oh I did need tissues. The kids were so sweet. DS had us in stitches. It was based on strictly come dancing, so they had all these dance routines while the narrators all said a line, and he was so busy looking for us and waving. Then when he was sat there waiting for the baby jesus to arrive, he lifted his costume up so we could see his pants. bless him.

I managed to not cry until DS2's little nursery class came out, and then that was it.

I am so going to look up how to do the snowman soup and reindeer food for next year. My mum has a shop, and I bet she could sell loads of it for me.

Right, best see what I can squeeze into this hour before I get DS2 from nursery. I'm just wondering how far I can go with it. £150? £200? Realistically, we have till the 24th to get most out of all the other people rating, but we'll still get the 50ps a bit longer.

Me and DH were just saying one of the days we are down with the ILs, they are taking the kids to watch the gruffalo, so we are going to have a 'date' type day. Whatever we fancy doing - cinema, meal out, whatever, so I have a nice little treat planned. ;)

I am getting to the excited stage now. We still have lots to do, but we can do it. :D

Claros - oh No!!! I thought we got chucked off because we were too rowdy on chat - It was Legends fault. ;):D

Oh those were the days! Didnt do much money making between 8pm and 9pm then! That was such a laugh! Shame MSE doesnt have a live chat! Then again we would make nothing then due to gossiping away!

    Morning all

Well done everyone on C and the PF. I got £2 which is £2 more than I was expecting. I put another review on this morning and I have another for tomorrow, not sure about after that but I should be able to knock one up if needs be and I get time.

OH had to take his Dad to the hospital yesterday for a check up after his heart attack and they were doing some kind of tests where they enter the main artery (sounds yuck) but then it wouldnt close up again after so he ended up having to stay in overnight so OH brought his Mum back and she stayed over till this morning. They have gone back to take his Dad home then when OH gets home we are going out, not sure where or what we are doing yet, some kind of shopping I expect and probs just up the town. He got his Christmas bonus today from work so I expect its burning a hole in his pocket.

I have a few more surveys this morning, I have been quite happy with them lately, and am near redeem on a few of them so that will hopefully be a good start to the New Year.

The grandchildren didnt do a Christmas play this year as the younger ones are in juniors now and they seem to have it for the infants over their school.

I would like that legend, especially when OH is on nights and I am home alone of an evening. It always seems to work out that the nights he is at work I come on here and there is no one about. Then the nights I dont get on here because he is home, I come on in the morning and there are pages of chat lol.

May be we should have our own FB group next year like the sewing thread do or something. They started that one up so that we could tell each other about things we have made for selling and promoting our shops and things without getting into trouble on here etc. Plus photos and things.

It's a shame they don't do something for the bigger kids Rufus - It really get's me in the Christmassy mood when I see the kids.

It must a day for Christmas bonus's. OH just popped in to say, he'd got his in his wage slip - Payday is tomorrow though. I suppose it'll go on bills as usual.

The review I wrote yesterday has just been added to Chow. I've been doing surveys all morning, so off to write some more reviews now. Catch you later everyone.

OOH Great idea Rufus - we used to have our own blog didn't we? I only ever saw it a couple of times, and as people left it never got updated.

No, it was a good idea but as you say it never got updated, may be a FB group would or something, see what the others think about it. Good luck with the reviewing xx

I have two FB accounts, one I use for chatting to my family etc and the other one I made up for my shop to help promote it and I use that one for logging onto the sewing group. That way I can keep more control over what pics and details are shared on it.

I think it's a great idea actually. I'm not technical and wouldn't know where to start. Do we have any volunteers to set one up? ;) Do you think it ought to be a closed group and newbies can be invited to join?

That way we could also give more details and post pics easier etc - I have family who I know who read my posts, so I'm a bit wary about posting some things. ;)

(I'm terrible at logging in to FB - there is so many other things going on, I forget, but I really need to keep in touch more with family and friends, so it would make me more likely to check, if thrifty was on there too. )

ETA: My chow got updated - I did get £10 from the pf, and my £7 has been added. :D
