Hi everyone, thanks for the Birthday wishes, you lot are so lovely it has cheered me up no end. Only hubby and my mum remembered my birthday, brothers and sisters haven't even contacted me to say happy birthday at all, I know it's selfish to want all of my family to remember, I'm not bothered about cards or presents just some acknowledgement as I always make a big fuss of everyone else on their Birthdays
It upsets me as I do wonder why I make the effort to see everyone else smile, I could probably cut a huge chunk out of my 2012 budget
I wont harp on about everything else that has happened today, but I think I will be glad to turn in for the night. Sadly hubby is out this evening so I'm on my todd looking afer dd alone tonight.
Sorry to hear about the car troubles cornish, Chel is very right, cars cost the earth to keep on the road, if it's not one thing it's another. My first car broke on my very first outing in it and cost £400 to fix! My car has been ok for the last year, no repairs needed but this year I know the ball joint will be shot so £400 for that and anything else that come up on the mot. Chel, hope it doesn't cost too much to fix everything, how did you come to have no speedo? Have vicions of you driving along and suddenly clunk, somehow your dials are gone hehe.
Well done on 1000nd and 1001st post cornish and legend, blimey we can chat can't we!
Foxy hope OH is ok? How did he break his hand? just what you need before Christmas, hope he has a speedy recovery. I'm glad you could re-arrange your exam it must be a relief to not have to squeeze in the revision too.
Well done everyone on your money making, you are all doing so well with chow and dooU, surveys, bargains and everything else we do. Proud of you all.

Thanks anyway Clairet1983 - I'm sure it is lovely.
Savvy - I'm sorry you're not having the happy birthday you deserve. Sending big hugs and virtual wine and chocolates.
Foxy - sorry to hear about OH. I hope his hand heals quickly.
Chel - Well done on the wrapping. I was going to do a couple of hours and did four in the end. Still more to do, but shouldn't take more than an hour now.
Legend - I would have used your referal hun, but I'm not buying anything else or Chel will tell me off.
Michelle - Your way of doing the reviews is working so don't worry about it. Did you get on OK at Mr T's. I bet it was heaving.
Rufus - you deserve a nice easy day - you've been none stop for weeks. I hope you enjoyed it.
I'm sorry if I've forgotten everyone who has posted since I did this morning. I hope all lurkers are well too.
I've just redeemed on S&S and checked my emails and had a survey for 1000 points, so when they are added, I can redeem again.
Has anyone had an email off Viva? I did, my first ever one. It mentions something about the fee is changing, but I can't make head or tail of it. It's not very clear. Hang on I'll paste it here, to see what you think.
Thank you for your continuing support of Vivatic.
Our records show you have requested a payment that is due either on December 30th or January 31st.
We are writing to inform you that PayPal has increased the cap it places on the payments we make to you.
With immediate effect the PayPal fee cap has increased from £0.65 to £5.00. The commission percentage remains unchanged at 2%.
This will only effect payments over £25.
For example
Payment requests for £25 will result in you receiving the same amount as before £24.50 (£25 minus 2% of £25 - £0.50)
Payment requests for £50 will result in you receiving £49. £50 minus 2% of £50 - £1)
If you wish us to cancel your outstanding payment request so you can earn additional funds to make payments more efficient please contact us.
Regards,
Vivatic

Yeah I had it too Elysia, I had to read it twice and still couldnt make out what the capping meant but it looks like if you request £25 you will get the same as before anyway so thats a good thing. When I saw the £5 I was thinking they were going to charge us £5 every £25 lol.
I have had a few more surveys this evening. Had a nice time seeing my mate, wont see her now for a month or so. Other than that and a bit of rating on C I havent done much at all, its been lovely.
Savvy, hope you can find something to do this evening, may be when littleun has gone to sleep you can pamper yourself and watch a film or something xx0 -
savy sorry to hear you have had a bad day:(
elysia thanks for the mention about the survey. my emails go to 2 different places (same address so not sure why) and I would have missed the one from S&S. mine was only for 500 points though:(

I haven't received that email although I am due payment in December but their example shows that whether you decide to redeem for £25 or £50 you are still paying the same fee, so whether you request two lots of £25 or just one lot of £50 you basically will be getting paid £49 either way. The cap is basically just saying that they cant pay you less than £5 I think, perhaps it means they get charged extra for two £25s than they would for one £50 and that it's better for them to do £50? Abit of an odd email but I think it is just them trying to stop people claiming as quickly as they did before.
Have a great time at the concert, it sounds wonderful
Have a great time at the concert bunbun, I hope it is magical
I'm glad you had a lovely day rufus, you have been working so hard you deserve a bit of a break xx
I am just enjoying the peace and quiet, think I am going to catch up with surveys and things this evening and start working on my plan for 2012. Swagbucks gave me 50swagbuck for my birthday so I best find a few more points to redeem on there too. Keep forgetting about all the sites we use, there are so many now!Comping wishlist for 2017

I read the viva thing as you have a cap of £5, so to get more cash from them, wait till you will get less fee. But, up to £250 would be £5, so you would have to save up more than £250 to be at an advantage, and they are really having a laugh if they think anyone would wait that long.
(Mr T wasn't too heaving, and DS2 wasn't too bad for a change. We were in and out within an hour, and I only have to go shopping again before xmas now for a small list.)0 -
Foxy - I hope DH is ok, broken bones are horrible! Sounds like you are doing fab with the market research
Savvy - £400
Poor little car seems to be doing a little better now she's had a good run, I got it going and into town... parked in the huge multistory where you need a ticket to get out and didnt realise if it didn't start again I'd be stuck in there :rotfl:but luckily it was ok. Just have to see how she is in the morning!Making money for christmas 2012:santa2:0
