Well done Elysia, that's good news about C isnt it. I am just over £30 this morning so way more than I thought I would get. I have another to put on today, just sticking to one a day now.

I had a couple more surveys this morning, I have gone over the redeem amount on SH but cant redeem until the pending ones are cleared. This will be £16.15 to come from there (goes by $).

Not doing much this morning, just lazing around, need to wash my hair in a bit when I can be bothered. Its nice to know all the chairs etc are finished, the house is looking more like a home again. I am meeting my mate this afternoon, will be last one until next year as she only comes down while the schools are open to pick up her grandson.

Hi Stressed - thanks for popping in. I'm glad that you've said that - while we can put our points of view across, it's always more helpful to hear from someone who has been in that situation themselves.

How are you doing hun? All prepared for the big day?

Hi Elysia, I'm good thanks. Still working away in the background. Won't make money neutral this year but made £100 AMazon, so lots of freebies there!

I'm mostly done for Christmas, but I had winter voiting, which put me out of action for a week, the dd2 had a virus and I was out of action with her! Hoping they can stay healthy from now

    Stressed xx
Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

  • Morning everyone.

I tried to have an early night last night. Got in bed about 11, but then read till 12:30 so no less tired today. :rotfl:I was wondering if I am money neutral this year? I have no idea as I have not kept track of what I spent, but I have certainly earned plenty more from joining here. I know a lot of the stuff I bought for Murphy was money neutral, and I got DS1's main present with money from amazon vouchers I had earned. I will write it down next year so I know better. :D

I got 5 reviews on C yesterday. I am still not really writing much new stuff. I am amazed how many reviews I have had to copy over. I am at 46, and I think 2 or 3 have been reviews written this month. Fab. My total is nearly at £70. Went up over £6 again yesterday. And we haven't even had any premium fund yet from November. We are all doing amazingly. I want to give a big thanks to you ladies, as without you, I would be lacking somewhat in motivation. I really appreciate it. :D
  • Morning ladies, well done everyone on chow! I've also got the piney link if anyone needs it, I'm gonna get my mum to join up, she's always jealous of my extra money lol

I've only just realised DDs grandparents are coming down from kent from the 19th-23rd so I really have to crack on with chow, that 4 days will lose me about £12 at the very least on there :( hopefully I can get on for an hour or so over them days

Just got in my car to go get the last bits from town and my battery is flat :( seems like everything is against me atm

Cornish - It always happens like that, what a shame! Our's went flat during the summer - I was sat at Mr T's petrol station and it just wouldn't move. I wouldn't mind but I'd just drove ten miles to get there. It wasn't like it was cold or anything. Can anyone give you a jumpstart? or is it totally dead. I think ours cost about £70 :(

Michelle - you shouldn't be thanking us for keeping you motivated, it should be us thanking you - we're trying to catch you up. :rotfl:

I don't think I've ever tried so hard at reviewing. This is hard going but at least we have a wide selection of things to review. I've done another one today, but can't put it on yet, as they haven't added it. I'm going to wrap some pressies up for a bit, and then have a go at another review lunchtime.

If anyone hasn't noticed - M&S wrapping paper and cards are halfprice now. It's lovely quality. I'm going to stock up for next year. ;)

  • Hi everyone,
Im so sorry I havent been on for about 2 weeks - am catching up on all your posts that I have missed but hope you are all ok.
I have finally finished my Christmas shopping, just waiting for a few things to be delivered then can finish the wrapping. Unfortunately my flatmates decided against a Christmas tree this year (bah humbug!) but hopefully can help OH's mum do hers this weekend - its just not Christmas without all the decs!
Thanks to everyone who looked for the powder for me a while back, she will have lots of other presents instead so Im sure she wont mind not getting it
Did another craft fair last weekend but only sold 1 scarf :( was very very quiet, it was the 1st time they had done one in that location and I dont think they advertised very well. Thankyou to whoever it was (Legend?) who told me about selling things on Facebook, have made nearly £30 in the last 2 days and still have loads of things to post up, soooo much better than standing in the cold at a carboot sale!
Sorry to those who got the map, I think I was lucky in that I must have got the second batch so mine did at least have the name of the street on it, although it is on bright white paper, think I might use my watercolours to make it look a bit more like an old map - will let you know how I get on
Well done to everyone on their surveys etc, you are all flying
lso congrats Rufus on your grandchild, what a fantastic Christmas present!!!
Will catch up and be back soon x
  • Sorry to hear about your battery cornish. Winter always brings out these faults. I needed a new one last year, as I so rarely use my car these days. It does them in.

Elysia - :rotfl:I feel a fraud though. I am spending ages doing the rating, but the true hard work is writing new stuff. I'm at 59/100 on my 4 months/100 challenge. That is why I am in awe of you guys. And I am not posting anything on c now unless it is a promotion. ;) Thank goodness we realised that there would be a toy promotion is all I can say. A lot of the ones I am putting on are my really early ones. I keep meaning to sit down and work out what else I have to add, but running out of time. :rotfl:Just think how good it will feel to rest over Christmas. That is all that is keeping me going. :D;)

Aw cornish! Cars they are whole heap of trouble especially as we rely on them so much!

Claros glad your doing well on Facebook selling, I am a bit of an addict on there! I am currently selling Magic reindeer food on there! lol I have sold 8 bags so far and have a few inquiries! OH laughs at me but I think if it sells on ebay then I can have a go on there! Plus DS has loved helping make the food so was a nice activity for him to help with!

I still have wrapping to do but will try and at least finish DS's whilst he is in school later! I also need to decide when I am going to do the Christmas food shop!
