Well done Claire - Like everyone else I've been rating you on Chow, but didn't like to butt in. I thought I'd let you pop back in your own time. If you wanted to that is. Any news about DS? You were seeing the health visitor last time.

Cornish - woohoo £50 Very well done.

Savvy - I did notice you were wrapping cards, but I genuinely thought you were. My Step brother gives DD1 a gift card every Christmas, but to make it feel like a proper present, he wraps it up. ;)

Another review down - and two more suggestions added. I'm ok while I can keep the momentum going - If I start slacking give us a kick. :D

Savvy - wow - I love your craft stash. You've some lovely stuff there. Your cards are brilliant! I wish I'd taken some photos of the ones I made for the elf thread now. Is the MAC stuff what OH has bought you for Christmas or your birthday?

  • Thankyou.

Since I last spoke to you he has had a hearing test which came back fine but we thought it would anyway, he has a speech assessment on Thursday and a behavoiur assessment in the new year. Everything just seems to be taking its time. In the meantime he hasnt got much better his vocab has increased to four words and he has taken to screaming to communicate. When we speak to family they just make me feel like a paranoid mother and they all say he will get there. Which I am sure he will but if I can get help for him then why not.

Exactly Claire - you're his mother and know him best. Any speech therapy will be just giving him a little nudge, so he can catch up, that's all. You want the best for him, so go for it I say. :) Please don't disappear (pop in when you can) - It's almost a new year, and we need you. :)

I hope she get's on OK Chel. I'll be here with tissues for you when you get back. :)

Legend - have a check to see if S&S has tracked.

Mine didn't last week so I didn't get any points. I think that's why I kept forgetting to upload them yesterday - I couldn't be bothered to do it, incase they didn't track again. I've just had points added for my barcodes I added yesterday - Uhhhh What barcodes? Either they've finally tracked, or they've paid us anyway. It doesn't hurt to check. ;)

Evening all, plodding on with chow although not getting much else done but since chow is paying better at the minute.

Hi Claireylulu keep going with what you believe little one needs you know best afterall.

Got to go into town tomoro to get all the special cards and oh bday cards (birthday saturday) and put some cheques in the bank so wont have to go back into town after tomoro. Want to try and wrap at least one hamper tomoro if not two can't do the third as still waiting for a photobook.

Must try and get a stock of reviews ready as I have 2 days off and then back to work for 4 and days off go so fast.

Hope everyone else is doing well - goodnight xx

Hi Clairey, i don't post very often, but just wanted to agre. If you feel you son needs help, go for it. My son is now 18, put when he was younger i knew there was a problem, I went to my health visitor and she basically told me I was a over protective mother. I insisted on a speech therapy referral, and he had intensive therapy for 18 months (3 years worth!) I kept on at the the health visitor and doctor and finally when he was 7 he was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome. I had always known he was 'different' but everyone else told me it was in my head. So if you have any concerns follow them up, the younger the better

Hi Stressed - thanks for popping in. I'm glad that you've said that - while we can put our points of view across, it's always more helpful to hear from someone who has been in that situation themselves.

How are you doing hun? All prepared for the big day?
