Savvy, I'm fine. Thank you for asking. Still some wrapping to be done, and one last batch of homemade jam, and then I'm all done. The aim is for it all to be done before DD breaks up from school on Friday, so it's going to be a mad, mad rush.

Hitting Argos on Mon am, got 10 items reserved, then we've got a new £1 shop, thinks its Poundworld, so may have to do a diversion!!
Looking forward to Sunday lunch out, Miss Hoodie and me, are meeting some friends by Chester, half way point for us both, can't wait, good catch up as well, haven't seen them since summer. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Morning all
I came on at 8 to talk to Dad and to check my inbox for surveys, only just finished them, had quite a few and qualified for most of them. I have done everything now though, put another book review on C from DY, will do a bit of rating later on as got things to do this morning, need to get roast dinner cooked ready to hot up tonight when OH gets in and also need to do a bit more to the chairs, hopefully will have 5 mostly done by this afternoon so just the one left to do.
Got to fit writing Dad's cards for him as well, but should be able to do that while tv is on tonight if not before.
Catch you later on xx0 -
Good morning everyone.
I managed to get a bit of wrapping done at last so I feel a bit better now. I'm going to try to do a bit more today on and off as I don't want to do big sessions of wrapping too often. I have to do it on the floor and it made my back ache like crazy. My belly kept getting in the way too :rotfl:!!
Most of my Wilkos order has been refunded as it's out of stockIt was the gift boxes that I really wanted so I've had to change my plan. I think I'm going to cut the tops off some shoeboxes and wrap the outside of them. Then I'll put tissue paper over the gifts and have cellophane going over the top and seal it at the bottom of the box. Does that sound okay? I didn't want it to look dodgy but I think it should be alright.
I've just been return rating on Chow, it takes so long! It is nice to see the pennies mounting up on there though. I've noticed I've had a few E rates as well, exciting!!
What's everyone up to today? As well as a mountain of school work to do, I also want to do a bit more wrapping, spray paint a few things (if it doesn't rain as I'll have to do it outside), tackle the mountain of ironing and I really MUST start writing my cards!Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -
Hiya, hope everyone is having a good day.
Got the tree up yesterday, it's looking nice, have now written all cards and wrapped all presents - just one to get and its a secret santa for a night out on Wednesday.
Going to visit my grandad today to drop off some gifts and cards, it's still cold but at least the snow and gale force winds have gone

Well done on the E's Nicky.
Try Rufus's tip for wrapping - either stand up at the ironing board, or lower it, and sit down to do it. Worked for me.
Rufus -I don't know how you fit it all in.
Thanks for popping in Pink - It's beginning to look at lot like Christmas. Dar de dar dah dah. Join in everyone.
Another review on Ciao - that's my fifth for the promotion, so I can email them now.Woohoo

I have had a good morning, got five of the chairs covered now, the last one hasnt been started on yet but I will try to do a bit this afternoon. Also got the dinner cooked so I can now have a sit down and write out some of Dads cards for him.
Elysia, glad the ironing board worked for you. I use mine for a lot of things like cutting out for my sewing or pinning things together as its a nice height to work on.0 -

Afternoon everyone. Not quite sure where time is going today. We now have the tree up, but I don't feel that Christmassy yet, just a bit overwhelmed with all I still need to do.
C went to £51.79 this morning which is amazing. I'm so impressed with myself, and I think I need to up my aim to £100 at least. I can find some energy from somewhere I'm sure.
I need to work out when I am going to wrap and get the rest of the stuff done. The kids don't finish school till the 19th, but I also will lose most of Thursday morning as its the nativity, and only get 2 hours on friday as DS2 goes to nursery in the afternoon instead for the party. This week is going to fly.
My motivation is inspiring me to sit on the sofa, and that is about it. This is quite organised for me though, so I must keep reminding myself that.:o0
