Thanks for finding me Mum2three - I'll add you too now. I'm no good at finding people so I have to wait until you find me.
Another one written and on DooU, have to wait for Chow to add it, so I'd best do another couple of reviews. I'm no good at toy and book reviews so I'm struggling. Give me household appliances anytime - I can write for ages about those. Have you noticed? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I hope Savvy, Legend and Pablos are OK (plus all the others who are missing. It's very quiet on here lately. I suppose they are winding down, and getting ready for January!I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Aw look at that I am missed! lol
Elysia Twinkle received a lovely card this morning and DS was slightly confused as to how the elves that sent it knew his name too! lol
Everything is OK! Cannot belive Christmas is coming so quickly! 15 days! Eek I need to get baking! I want to make fudge, messed it up last year, those Mary Berry spiced cupcakes and mince pies so need to check the cupboards for ingrediants! Also need to sort out wrapping a few more pressies! So much for being organised!
Off to see the Coca Cola truck tomorrow! Think I am more excited than DS is! Its nice waking to coverings of frost as it makes it feel a bit more Christmassy but PLEASE can someone give me a kick up the bum to sort everything out!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

One kick coming up Legend. You have been missed. I'm glad Connor liked his card, was the postage ok? The PO said it would be, but someone else told me 3D cards had to go with a large stamp on, so I'm hoping it was OK.I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Afternoon guys. Slow start here money making. I had a lie in till 10:30 (much needed) then we took a ride over to my mum's shop so I could buy the wool I need to make my BIL a xmas jumper. I don't know why I say yes to these things, as I am rather short on time, but there you go.
I'm at a birthday party 4-6, so I am just trying to get some rating done now. I might wait till tonight to post much else new. I have one at the top of my list that didn't show on the latest reviews list when c added it. Pain. It has about 7 much appreciated rates so far. I'll have to keep at the top of my list now. None have loads of rates, though i am not going mad writing in January and will circle them about then.
I've decided I am going to do the elf thing next year as you all seem to be having such fun with it. I might knit some. I know Elysia found a pattern a while back. If i start early in the year it might be done by next christmas. :rotfl:
It's quite sunny here today, but bitterly cold again. I just want to hibernate now and less running about. It will come soon. I had great plans of being really organised too, but not really got there yet. We have a DVD to watch tonight so I might start wrapping, otherwise I'll never get there. I think I need a kick up the bum too.0 -
Have we any snowman soup makers here? Last year my marsh mallows went crispy any tips for how to stop this?:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Cant help you there Legend sorry, but I expect someone will know.
We were up the hospital a couple of hours after all this morning, doctor said she has been walking on it too soon and told her off, said she has to stay on the crutches for another week and then go to one crutch. Said she broke two bones in one toe after all and has strapped it up again.
I came in and started straight on my chairs. Got another one covered and one nearly covered but remembered that the MrT shopping is coming between 2 and 4 so decided to come and have a sit down before it gets here. OH is having fish and chips tonight so I wont need to cook dinner for him so may be I can get a bit more done after the shopping is put away if I am not too knackered.
I have got a few surveys in my inbox but dont want to start on any of them and then there's a knock at the door so I will try them later on, give me an excuse to have another sit down.
I will be glad when these chairs are all finished and we can tidy up the dining room again and put the Christmas table cloth on, its a mess in there at the moment with fabric and tools everywhere.0 -
Hi everyone, sorry I haven't posted much. Everyone seems to be going great guns, and I'm, well... not. It's just too cold, just not motivated and even struggling to get out of bed in the mornings at the moment
Usually i am in my element in winter but not feeling it. Hubby reminded me it's my birthday next week, hadn't realised although I don't think we will be doing anythng anyway, too cold lol.
Have been lurking around grabbit as there have been some great offers, and had a bit of luck with a refund where the sent me too little back so they have given me £10 as a good will gesture so my shoes will only cost me £5.05 after vouchers/cashback etc I'm so pleased as they were £120 a few weeks back and I almost caved in (would have cost £70 after vouchers!)
Legend, the best thing to do is make the snowman soup as close to the day as possible to help keep it fresh, or like you do with the chocolate powder you could put them in a seperate bag in the cone to help keep freshness. I think it does't matter too much because when it's mixed with the choc the outside will become meted and sticky.
Sorry to hear dd fractured her foot Rufus, it must have been quite a hard fall on the concrete. Hope she feels better soon, they have to learn though don't they just a shame it was an accident
Thanks for the shout out Elysia, it's hard to get motivated in December. How have you been hun? Are you all set, wrapped and just enjoying the run up now or is there still plenty more to do?Comping wishlist for 2017
