  • With ebay I like my listings to end on a saturday which gives me the weekend to package things up. I tend to box/envelope everything up and write on the parcel what it is ie D/W would remind me it was a doctor who book etc. Then once they pay I print off the address (or write it on paper) and stick it on the parcel. I recycle boxes from grabbits and deliveries so it works out no more expensive.

If a buyer hasn't paid but you are going to the post office in the next day or so I tend to message them to say that I am popping up to the post office and their item is ready to be sent and awaiting payment.

  • Hello all, hope everyone is ok. I have had a rest from bingo, dont seem to be able to find time to get on there to post but I am happy with that. Surverys I do when I have time /be bothered. I have managed to stick loads of coins in my sealed pot, I love the clunk click of saving for next christmas/sales.
I plan to go to the building society and put my 'grocery shop' money saved into that account its not much but it is great to be putting money in that account again (currently balance of £1!)
I have listed 20 things this lunchtime on fleabay, had a major sort out of my 2 sons cupboards oh my there is soo much to sell/pass on/clothing bank.
from my experience fleabayin jan isnt the best time to sell BUT I am ready to be surprised!!

Back to work feels great, busy at this time of year as always but I love to be back doing something after what felt like a very long time off.
Some of our rendering has fallen off the side of the house :-( we had it done (re rendered) about 5 yrs ago, dh been out all morning knocking all the unsafe bits off. Will have to have that re done. DS1 15th bday next sunday and for the first time we are not included in his celebrations,he is off to cinema then for a meal at Cosmo with 15 of his friends, ahh my boy is all grown up! So I plan to have a nice family meal/celebration on fri or sat instead. I still have to buy pressies yet.

Of course you can Deb - that's what we're here for :D

Read through the first two posts and get to grips with things. The main thing is take you're time - you'll be put off, if you try and do it all at once.

There is a challenge on post 3 - It's to raise £50 on eBay. If you're feeling up to it, it's free listing day today. :D You've got plenty of time yet though as the challenge runs up until 1st Feb.

Join in whenever you can - we love it when more members join. It's like a big family on here, all helping each other. :D

Cross posted with Kirsty and Restricted.

Kirsty - whatever you do is up to you. We're just here to give ideas and motivation - like I've said before, do as much or as little as you like. Every penny is a penny less for Christmas. EBay might surprise you - I sold something on Buy it now in under 25 minutes and I have 35 watchers on another item ;)

Restricted - that's just what I meant - I don't want anyone to feel they HAVE to do it - it should be fun too. Little and often is the key. Please pop by often, it's great when you do.

Hi all, I am currently frantically listing over 99p start items on ebay to start later on this evening as I have to go out at 4pm, got tickets to the first DOI show so won't be back until gone 10pm, typical that its on a free listing weekend lol
Aiming to completely pay off the credit card in 2012!
  • Have got my bingo points up to 9000 now. Didn't win today but hoping to redeem this week - woohoo!

I'm finding the 10 posts quicker as a go along - today I did them all at once before I started posting - it's easier to keep track on my accounts that way.

Am hoping a for a few YouGov soon to get me to that magic £50!

  • Ha i knew it was you. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Thought you had guessed :j:j

Don't give up just because you can't do the challenges - I can set alternatives :D Especially for you. See how kind I am. ;)

Alot of it depends how I feel, I have suffered with depression on and off for 15 years, and sometimes I really CBA:( but I need to motivate myself to get up and get on. Also think I am going through menopause so that makes me feel yucky, ( note to self book doc appoint) and I'm also very lazy :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Let me know if ever you feel you can't manage it (this is to everyone) hopefully I can come up with another idea - That's why I like your challenges, they have lots of bits to them so even if I don't do one bit I can do the rest - will update with challenge progress in a min cos I can't mulit quote

Have a good sunday, see you at 8
