Jena just do as many surveys you can and play BP when you can. I sometimes leave mine running while I go and cook dinner for the boy- you might miss out on a chat game but still maximising your time. I keep seeing you on BP (if you are the user with the extra e?). And I agree it's tough to keep up with the girls chatting and forum posts when they can talk for England and Wales! Make sure you get your items up on ebay today as it's the last day of free listing and maximise your earnings. And if you feel overwhelmed don't forget it's a marathon not a sprint!
Thanks everyone for your help with shopping.com - will check this out this afternoon.
Ddraig glad you're alive! I want to see this sock monkey too - was it hard to do?
Welcome along Naughty! Looking forward to hearing how you're getting on. It sounds like you're well on your way with the January challenge!
My day today is going to consist of catching up on my business orders, listing a few more things on ebay, surveys and catching up with Tna and catching up with trashy tv!Dribbling my way to £11k... so far £653.69/£11000

Hi just a quickie from Tol addict....i blame nickybo
When you list an opinion can you make sure you ask for a max word count of 10 (it makes no difference to opinion maker) so i can reply quickly. And keep open for 6 months
Tol says its quantity not quality.
Points from surveys can take weeks to come on
Ebay - I sold my first two things on ebay and noticed on a free listing weekend , if you put things on for one day and they dont sell you can relist for free and leave on longer, so I`ve sold two things since yesterday and relisted the rest
Hope your all ok and money making well, thanks for all the information, will catch up properly later.Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -

Hi all, put lots of little bits on bay, thanks for the challenge, I think I am going to meet the £50 woo hoo, must make sure I remember the fees.
Been on T and responded to some of you still not really finding my way round so sorry if I have missed anyone but I will get there.
Have a savings account to keep separate.
Have a jar for small change, if I keep it to just 2p 1p and 5p nobody will get tempted to "borrow" it.
Thanks for all the help and advice looking to redeem again this week ar bp see you all there later.:D0 -
Morning every one.
Im getting in a bit of a fluster with ebay,
6 things sold last night and I was hoping to have them packaged up last night or deffinatly this morning but no one has payed so I cant get on the adress details :mad:
More things are ending today so I dont want to get all confused.
I also wanted to list at least 5 things today but now i think i will only put two on as i dont want atonne of stuff to get packaged and posted all at once.
I had a plan in my head of how it would work and now it has gone wrong.
Sorry to go on but i get stressed with things like that.
Any way how is every one else doing so far?
Is it monday we do an update?
Elysia-thanks for the information on free bingo, I may have a go when i get a bit less stressed with ebay.
Wellcome to all the ne w people and good luck on your money saving journey.Looking forward to new ventures :beer:0 -
Hiya, I dont post on this thread much but just wanted to update on the challenges...
Challenge 1: January 2011.
1. THE AIM IS TO MAKE £50 ON EBAY. (after all ebay/paypal fees and postage has been taken into account).
I have some things on ebay at the mo but need to pull my finger out and get more things listed if I wanna get anywhere near the £50 mark!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2. OPEN A SEPARATE CHRISTMAS SAVINGS ACCOUNT.
Done this and I have been putting £10 a week (split as £5 for me and £5 for OH) OH doesnt know about it cos if he did he would find a reason to "need" the money before Christmas! - Total £20
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.SAVE UPTO £5 WHEN YOU DO YOUR SHOPPING
Always look for multi-buys but dont necessarily do a big shop as only me and OH in household and he works away so I tend to buy as and when or go to my mums for tea lol
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4. Save for January sales!
Doing this as part of the £365 in 365 days challenge - I put £1 a day in and so far have £10 (already put tommorows in!) xxx
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks for keeping me on track - I look forward to Febs challenges xxLBM AUG 2009 - Debts £20,000+ :eek: Debts now 13,582.06:j Seven Debts Paid Off :jSnowballing to pay debts - Muffin V's Catalogue [STRIKE]£1700[/STRIKE] £1480.000 -
Welcome to all the newbies, hope you finding loads of ways to make money for christmas.
Has any one had any you gov surveys recently? I've got 4770 pts and haven't had any for ages, so near yet so far lol
I'm not going to be able to ebay this month, will have to do this when the weather is better cos everything that could be sold is either in the shed or garage and both need a top be sorted, but shoulkd have things then for ebay abd car boots.
I am doing the £10 a day challenge and have made January's money already so I am on target - need to sort out what presents I need to buy and how much I need to make. Don't think I will be totally money neutral cos have some biggies this year - DS 18, mum and dad's golden wedding to name a few.
Need to see if I can work out the following on 2Lu*a - have got 30k points and done a few surveys recent.
OH got a tax rebate cheque yesterday so if I can pursade him to add it to the fund half of February is already achieved :T
SOrry for long post
Stressed xxxHoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

Well done Muffin and you're very welcome here any time you like you know. If you feel yourself slipping or not motivated, come back here for a chat.
Zangles - don't worry about things so much. You all sound like it's a full time job, and it shouldn't be. Please don't make it so much of a chore otherwise you'll get fed up and lose interest.
Jena - re bingoport - if you find yourself struggling, do what I originally said - play on auto, minimise the screen and do five posts, then go back to the bingo - and chat etc until it's time to re-do the auto, minimise and do the other five. I try and do five in newbies, and five in winners are grinners etc, that way everything is simple and you know where you areHTH
I'm glad I've got pet insurance too, but thankfully (touch wood) we've never had to use it. I also got £70 or £80 cashback via quidco so I reduces the cost a bitI :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
