I had similar problems with my two when tiny. I used to put them in a vest, babygro and then a cardigan to sleep. I then used to have them in a growbag, and I used to find the thing that was really cold was their hands, so I used to put socks on their hands and tuck them under the sleeves on the wooly cardigan, and this made them warmer.
Perhaps a hat if you think she wouldn't pull it off.
And I might go for putting a hot water bottle in the bed for a bit before bedtime to take the chill off, then obviously take it out before you put her into bed.
Chow balance at £15.33 for me this morning, and they added on a couple of the product suggestions I put on this morning. I might risk this afternoon putting another couple of product suggestions on, but not go too mad as they seem to be adding them quickly. We've had snow here this morning. Makes me want to be even more organised.I just got a class list from DS1s teacher this morning for Christmas cards. There was over 50 kids on it, as it is a big double class in the foundation unit. I might send a card to each of the kids in his own particular class, and then let him pick a few he is friendly with from the 2nd class as it seems a whole load of effort, as I will have to write most of it. Then I get one for DS2's nursery class later when I pick him up too. I've not even started my own list yet. I think the next few weeks are going to be mega busy.0 -

Emma, I found that the sleeping bags weren't enough to keep my two warm so I would layer them up in vests, babygrow, socks, sometimes a cardigan, thick fleece babygrow and then the sleeping bag. It was the only way to keep them warm enough and our house is pretty good wiht the heating.0

Emma, can you not buy a different heater to have in the baby's room? My house doesnt have central heating and we have no heating at all upstairs. Its not too bad in the bedrooms once we get in bed but my craft room is upstairs and it used to be freezing up there, I was wearing a coat when I was sewing. Last year my MIL bought us a heater, it looks like one of those oil filled radiators but it hasnt got oil in it. It came from Argos and it warms up the room really quickly, it has different settings on it so you can have it on quite low if you wanted to and it doesnt seem to cost a lot to run.
This is the one we have http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4152095/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CHome+and+furniture%7C14417894/c_2/2%7C14417894%7CHeaters+and+radiators%7C14417957/c_3/3%7Ccat_14417957%7COil+free+radiators%7C14417960/Trail/searchtext%3EHEATER.htm0 -
Evening all, been busy with chutney making today and the house smells divine. Had a quick taste and it's lovely, just hope everyone likes it as it's the first time I have ever made a chutney. Made a large jar for the inlaws so I hope they like it too as they are experienced chutney makers. Thanks for sharing the recipe Nicky, I am looking forward to trying it once it's matured with some cold meat and rustic bread
Emma, it may be worth buying one for her room if it's getting too cold. Our house is too warm in summer and freezing in winter and at the moment we are using a warm childrens duvet, extra blankets if needed and really warm pyjamas. I think it will depend on the her age, kids are quite adaptable to noise though. When dd was around 9 months we were having both the kitchen and bathroom being done as well as windows so dd had to have her naps in the room next to all the drilling, she suprisingly did sleep through it. Obviously I wouldn't recommend using it if it is as loud as a drill but if it's more noisy ceiling fan then you could give it a go and see.
Going on a survey hunt now, wish me luck!Comping wishlist for 2017

I am annoyed with i*s*s. Evening all, 3 reviews on c today and gonna put another one on before bed!!
Decided I would try the fan heater in my youngests room can't remember who asked but she is 14 months, put the heater in and shut the door no idea what setting to put it on as it is just a dial with no temps on, the room ended up boiling so I turned it down til it clicked off and this was at dot 2 out of about 15. Went back upstairs to have a bath and the heating had just been on and the heater in her room had kicked in as if the temp had got too low but it was boiling. I am guessing the thermostat is knackered on it! Tink I am gonna buy an electric radiator for her room to give me piece of mind more than anything they are £22 in argos so not too bad and my sister will get 10% off for me.
I put her to bed in a vest, fleecy sleepsuit, sleeping bag and add another cover and she is sleeping without problem at the moment but I just think it is going to get colder and I would prefer to have a silution before there is a problem.
Had one or two surveys today but nothing much hows everyone else doing??To get to Disneyland Florida 20160 -
I'm glad you've found a solution Emma - My mum has those portable radiators that Rufus mentioned they are really good, and although they give off lots of heat - they don't get too warm to touch.
Well done on ebay and wins everyone. I managed to sell my one item, but I'm pleased it's out of the way. My daughter wanted a specific doll for Christmas (which I couldn't get anywhere) so she said she'd have this other one instead. Typical, I bought the replacement and found the original one she wanted. Anyway it's gone now and I was even feeling very good, and donated a percentage to charity.
Yay - OH is back at work tomorrow. I do have a few errands to run, but things should be back to normal
Tooti - Free postcode lottery is here. Just sign up and check everyday when you get the email. Like cornish said, if your postcode is drawn you can win £10, and it rolls over if no-one claims. Check again after 6pm, and if your postcode is drawn (further down the screen) you can win £5 then too.
All the info about DooU and Chow is on the second post. It's review writing, and you get paid. Sometimes it's just small amounts of pennies, but on a promotion like this you can really rack up the £'s over the whole month. If you need any extra help or referals just shout. We're all here to help.
