Nicky, You can put more on than just the one a day. I have been putting 4 or 5 on, leaving at least an hour in between xx

We have not been in long, been a long day, had to go up to London to collect OH's Mum and all her belongings to take her down to his Dad's for Christmas, tree, decs, everything lol. The car was packed. We popped into Dunelm Mill on the way home to pick up some braid stuff I ordered as I am going to do out dining chairs this week. I have been wanting a glue gun for years and convinced OH that I NEED one to do the chairs with so he bought one. It will save me a lot of bother with them anyway. I can also mend our wreath to go on the front door as lots of the bits fell off when we got it out of the box the other day.

I didnt have any new surveys this evening and dont really expect many until Monday or Tuesday so I will stick to rating on C and copying over my reviews. Hope you are all having a nice weekend xx

Thank you, shes been a bit better today, still a bit moody, trying our best, she was worried that she wasn't going to get a stocking at all, but shes now reassured shes getting a stocking,
Think part of her still wants to believe in him, we've said Santa lived a long time ago and the tradation has been kept up with, think once she gets her stocking we're be alright

Thou the list is now getting longer + longer!! Bless her xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Good morning everyone, it's very quiet around here lately!

Mum2one - I'm glad Miss Hoodie is feeling a bit better about it already. One of my class (8 years old) asked me outright whether Santa was real. Usually they just make comments but don't ask the question outright but I'm always expecting it at this time of year. My standard response is to lie totally and I hope I've got quite good at it now. Luckily most kids in my class seem to believe and back my fib up and those that I'm not sure about (usually the ones with older siblings) haven't tried to ruin it for anyone else this year.

I'm loving Chow! I checked this morning and my earnings have jumped to £2.44 overnight with only 2 reviews added. I've put another toy review on now so just 2 more and I can email them for the bonus :D

I got the last bits and pieces and presents yesterday so I'm pretty much finished. Just got a few things to pick up that I couldn't find yesterday but I can send DH out for those. Now I can get started on the wrapping. I bought the DVD 'Flint Street Nativity', has anyone seen it? It was on TV years ago and DH and I loved it. I've looked for it for a while and I think it must have been re-released. I can't wait to put that on, get a glass of Schloer and some chocs and start the wrapping!

What's everyone up to today? I will be doing lots of tidying and trying to organise baby stuff in our bedroom. It takes up so much space, I'm not sure where it's all going to fit!!

Oh poor miss hoodie. I too with my ss and sd went with telling them that the spirit of Father Christmas is real. Just to forewarn after ss found out he then said I take it then that the toothfairy isn't real either. Glad she seems a bit happier this morning.

Nickybo - I'm wrapping - there's loads of stuff - every year I say I'm not going to buy as much and then still end up doing it!

    Hiya Everyone :)

I'm sorry to hear about Miss Hoodie Mum2one. We took DD to Santa in House of Fraser yesterday. It was later in the afternoon so I thought it would be quiet, but the queue was massive. DD said oh well, we'll have to go to the local garden centre by home as he's there too. While we were in that queue, she was trying to say he's not real is he? I replied that this one was one of his helpers, as Santa is busy at the North Pole with all the wrapping and sorting. Phew. I think will be our last Christmas. :(

How's everyone doing? I'm glad to see that the Christmassy spirit is creeping in. Well done everyone on Chow. OH is off til Tuesday, so I may just have to churn from then. ;)

We went to the Frankfurt Christmas Market in Birmingham yesterday - the largest outside Germany. It's great, so if anyone is local, pop by. Was tempted by brackwurst and mulled wine, but it's WW tomorrow.

Oh just remembered - this is why I popped on. Free postcode lottery has a new offer. If you check theck the site again between 6pm and 12.am, they draw another postcode (further down the page) and you could win a fiver if yours is drawn this time. :)

Have a lovely afternoon everyone. x

Afternoon all, sounds like everyone is in the Christmas spirit :)

Just got back from a very busy town, was a nightmare finding parking and trying to get around the shops but I did it. Bought lots from M&S goodies for dd's stocking as they were lovely and and a box of festive pretzels to finish off another relatives gift, seeings as I have lots of vouchers and not much I want to buy from there, very pleased really as that is my Christmas shopping finished, just a jumper to get from Next but needs to be ordered in as they had none of my size left Maybe a hobby horse for dd if they have any left. Just waiting on the rest of the presents bought online to be delivered but think we are sorted, need to get some pics of dd ordered to complete the gifts so best think about staging the front room for a photoshoot lol.

Bought and aubergine too (hurray) what an odd vegetable, the feel so weird. Can you tell I ave never bought one before lol. Chutney being started tomorrow along with the mince pies, and the present wrapping starts tonight although hubby insists he wants to help, I would rather get on with it so I can do his first, men lol

As no-one has mentioned it yet - don't forget the Christmas giveaway on Quidco, S&S and Tissue for Legend.

Legend, I missed a week so I didn't get paid. Getting fed up with that one now, so I'll don't think I'll bother again. Not very MSE I know, but finding it hard this time of year. I'll be ok when Christmas is over, and motivated to save for next year again. :)
