    Afternoon all

We were just going out this morning when my Son rang and asked if we could look after youngest GS as DIL was not feeling too good and he was taking her up the hospital so we took him out with us for the day. Went to our local outlet centre first to go in The Range but found it didnt open until 11 and it was only 10. Found a couple of nice Christmas shops open so we got a couple of cards we needed then went to Wilkinson's instead. After that we went to Mr S. Had some coins to change up, got £12.50 from there (didnt win on the Xmas Bonus). Had a voucher for £7.50 off a something or other shop. Used my card at the till and the woman said it wouldnt accept it as we hadnt shopped in that store before (its a new one) so had to go to customer service. The woman there looked up both mine and OH's nectar cards, said he had more points on his so she used that one to go through and we ended up getting a total of £26 off our shop which was good.

I have got a few more surveys over onto C. It was over the £10 mark this morning already so pleased with that. I might even have some book ones on my DY that I can copy after the toy ones.

We bought a few little decorations to hang on the mini xmas tree in the front garden, hope they dont get nicked.

Forgot to say, Son and DIL came back a little while ago saying everything was fine and they were going home but she was having little contractions so they might be back up there again later. I will have to make sure my phone is charged up tonight. Fingers crossed.
  • Hi everyone.

I've been having a less busy one today. Thought we had best go visit my parents house as we haven't been in about a month. We spent a couple of hours there.

DH also made me have a lie in this morning, so I didn't even get up till half ten. Much needed.

I am still working C too. Sent an email over yesterday evening now I had the criteria right, and then I have been looking what I had to add. I've done 9 so far, 2 are in product suggestions, and then I have quite a few more to go on just in the first few pages from dy. I was up to £12.84 this morning. I don't want to go too mental adding stuff today as I get the feeling we will get them all added in one go, and i want to get as many rates as well as reviews on as I can to maximise it. Pleased with how it is going so far though.

Good evening everyone. December has got off to a fantastic start - 4 wins in 4 days. £10 Red Letter Day voucher off experiences from Colgate (if anyone would like this post on here and I'll PM you the code), £50 Amazon voucher from Continental Tyres, book and £17.50 on the bonus ball competition on Crunchcashback which means I've been able to cashout.

Ebay sales aren't going as well think it's because of all the offers, discounts that all the shops are offering.

I've attempted to do S&S but after weeks of really struggling for it to connect to transmit, this week it starts to transmit then fails so I've had to contact them. I've still sent my till receipt off though.

Do you belong to Ciao Tooti? If so its for writing a review for their site. If you write one on the categories Michelle stated in an earlier post (I know one is toys and one is books) then they will pay you 50p for each review. If you put 5 toy reviews on then they will give you an extra £7 when you email them.

A lot of us have accounts on Dooyoo which is another review site and have already written reviews on toys for that one so we are copying them over.

    Morning all

I have about £11.50 on C this morning, I have copied another over already and done a bit of rating. I need to get on with my dining chairs this morning. Just hope I can get the staples in this time, they have sent me a new staple gun so it will hopefully work.
  • Morning, sounds like everyone is doing fab on chow. I've been putting 1 book and 1 toy review on a day and getting just over £3 a day, hopefully I can keep it up because if it carrys on like that, I'm on to a winner!

Morning all, wondering if anyone has any ideas, my youngest daughter is in the box room which is really cold, the house is double glazed and insulated but her bedroom is above the front door where there is no heat and therefore no heat rises ino her room.

I have put a fleece under her cot sheet and put her in a sleeping bag as she wriggles and gets out of the covers otherwise. I have the heating on 40mins on a morning and 40 mins on an evening. Last night I ran an electric heater on the landing in the hope that some of the heat would go under her door as couldn't leave it open as the noise of the heater would wake her but all that happened was my eldest kicked her covers off as she was too hot and it didn't help with the youngests room.

Last year when it got really cold I had the heating booting up around 3 in the morning for half an hour but at the moment everyone else in the house is not cold through the night. last night when I went in her room at 10 the thermometer stated the room was bordering on too cold and this morning her room was freezing.

I am out of ideas, I put an extra cover over when I go to bed but this comes off anyway, the heater is too noisy to put in her room and obviously I can't burn candles in there.

    So please anyone any ideas??
