    Morning all

Flying visit yet again, off out to Dads today and I need to get my hair washed before we go out. I had a lovely day off yesterday, was nice just to do normal things like cooking etc for a change.

I didnt have many surveys this morning, just a PC one.

We are going to start wrapping our presents tomorrow so that will get us in the festive mood. The tree etc will go up next weekend as OH is working this weekend.

Has anyone else had an email from S&S inviting them to join f00d on the go?

I did quite a bit on T last night but that's about it.

Afternoon everyone - I just realised I hadn't checked on here this morning. I got Tutti's pm, and have been working on a list of survey sites for the new thread. Rhubarb, I didn't get your pm hun. :( Could you send it again, and I'll send you some other sites

Tutti - welcome to the thread hun. You're in the right place at the right time. It's starting to get quiet on the survey front now, so it's the best time to sign up to them. You can never have too many surveys, but if ever you feel overwhelmed you can always delete a few. ;)

Chel - was that for a set of the three first ones? If so I've been robbed. LOL. I paid £7.99 minus dd1's student discount.

Claros - thanks for posting that deal. If you find anymore bargains, don't forget to tell us. ;)

    Savvy - get off grabbit!

The plan was to start my wrapping today, but I've been busy and haven't done one yet. I might have a go later, or leave it until tomorrow now. I'm trying to pluck up the courage.

    SparkleyChel - You're welcome
Elysia - Sorry I didnt mention it before, I bought them quite a while ago when it was mentioned on Grabbit and then when I saw SparkleyChel's message I thought Id mention it - next time I promise to share :)

Claros - don't worry hun. I was only teasing. You can't really tell when it's written down though, can you? :( I hope you feel better soon hun. You get to bed, and keep warm.

Michelle - how are you doing today hun. Did your parcel arrive yet? Our post office, is a bit iffy, so if it hasn't, it might be there tomorrow.

How's everyone else doing this afternoon? Gosh it's cold here. It was thick frost this morning. :(

ETA: No more surveys in my inbox, so I'm heading over to amazon and grabbit. Someone hide my purse quick. :D

  • Afternoon all  I finished my assignment and submitted last night hurray! Next assignment isn't due until late January so I can relax and enjoy a relaxy December.

Juliejim - that is the other side of s&s where you report the takeaways and things you eat out etc, great if you eat out each week but like S&S if you don't submit you get kicked off the panel. Not many get invite so if you do eat or drink out of the house often I would go for it. You have to text your results in instead of scanning though, have no idea if the texts are free or not (I wouldn't have thought so).

Elysia, it's the first time I have been able to look at grabbit properly due to assignment, to be fair though, I did use a gift voucher for my M&S purchase so completely money neutral. Picked up a gift for hubs, some christmassy books for dd as they had the 'that's not my' range in the 50% sale and a lovely board book about santa as she rips up the paper ones. And an enamel pan and utensil set as she is going to have a kitchen for her birthday (vouchers already saved) I'm unsure about it but I can always exchange it for something else instore if it's not expected. That alone was originally £19.50! Toys are so expensive aren't they.

Not up to much today, hubby has cracked his tooth in half, and the dentist wont see him before Friday. Ridiculous if you ask me so he is trying to rest up whilst I look after dd. Need to sort out everyones presents tonight and see where we are at. Still need to order that decopatch Elysia, hoping that will be simple to use lol.

I have had two lovely gift boxes arrive which are perfect for my sisters pamper hamper for her birthday so i'm going to have to sort it all out and pack it up. Quite excited about it as it's for her 18th and so far hasn't cost a penny so I can spend some money taking her out somewhere instead. Need to get some lovely ribbon to tie the boxes together and I can use my craft stuff to decorate over the small logo at the corner of the boxes too. Will have to post pics when it's done.

Grab a drink and a mince pie, throw on some Christmas tunes and get wrapping, think I may have to start as I really don't enjoy wrapping at all lol
