Well the first sign of Christmas is in this household. A christmas card from royal mail with our free stamps!!!! :jDh says I'm tight though as I still buy 2nd class to post the christmas cards and keep my free 1st class for during the year. Still using xmas stamps in June usually :rotfl:
Not much money making going on here, have had a few on op and only about £4 off redeem, still aiming for that by the end of the year to have a good start to Jan.
Off christmas shopping tomorrow with my Mum, we go each year although usually later but they go on hols in 10 days and don't get back until just before christmas. Can't go next week as I am off to Cardiff to see george Michael :j Very excited.
Poor dd has chicken pox although only on her face! She is doing really well and hardly touched them and you wouldn't know anything was wrong with her. Ds has had them already so he is ok, preschool pictures on monday so I am hoping they will have cleared up a bit for then.0 -
Well done Stepmum - we had our stamps two days ago - I still have some of last years left, as I forget to use them for ebaying. Doh!
My goodness - the concert has come around quickly hasn't it? It only seems five minutes ago when you booked your tickets.
Oh bless DD with her Chicken pox. I'm glad she isn't itching too much. Where's your mum off to nice?
Have a good time Christmas shopping - we were going to the Frankfurt Christmas Market in Birmingham today - but due to OH's Segway experience yesterday, I've got to go food shopping today instead.
Just a reminder - has everyone done the Christmas thing on Quidco today? It's for a thorntons hamper.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

I've just bought DH's Christmas present from Boots - a 2 night getaway for 2 - on offer at £94 instead of £199 (no way would I have paid that) then because it's points weekend I brought DD some perfume that was on offer at £6.66 to take me over £100 so I got £20 worth of points so really the 2 nights away will have cost me £74 which I didn't think was bad.
Haven't done too well with surveys and stuff this week as I seem to have been really busy but hopefully I won't be as busy this coming week.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

lupyloo - Welcome to the thread. :hello:
sparkleychel - Did you receive your M&S e-voucher from Maximiles? How easy was the process, do you have to register with M&S online or can you just print the voucher off to use instore?
I've had quite a good week apart from a NPB on eBay. Received voucher from Surveyfriends, redeemed on Pureprofile, claimed a voucher on RewardTV (the 3rd voucher I've claimed from them so far this month) and had a few WEMs and small prizes just turn up in the post i.e. books, blu-rays. :j
I won a runner up prize a £10 off a Red Letter Day experience on the Colgate competition that I'm not going to use so if anyone would like it just post on here or PM me. T&Cs are Voucher is £10 off any Red Letter Days experience. Vouchers are for Red Letter Days Experience only and not for Red Letter Days Lifestyle. Voucher codes will be sent to the prize winners. One code can be used per purchase and each code may be used only once. Winners have 10 months [from the start of the promotion] to make a booking for your Red Letter Day experience; however your experience can take place after this period.0 -
Hi everyone, been one of those days today where dd has turned into a little monster. Have managed to write up the basis of my assignment today so hopefully I can complete it with a few days to spare lol Only one week behind now Elysia but hubby has night school tuesday and wednesday evening so plenty of quiet time to finish as it has to be in by Thursday.
Money making going slow today, had a piney so that cheered me up a little and haven't looked at viva as they aren't crediting.
Just seen that Mr T has reduced their cashmere to half price so doubled up some points I wasn't going to use, used a 15% discount code and cashback so it was completely free. So pleased as I really liked the one I ordered and wished I had bought the other one. I was going to try and wangle returning an order that wasn't suitable for one (as I used £20 discount codes) so now I will have £20 back in the bank from returning that one. Pretty chuffed
Loving the sofa Rufus, my goodness you are very talented! The fabric is lovely x
Good going with ebay Legend, your doing fab!
Rhubarb you can find most of us through Elysia's profile (if she doesn't mind me saying) but I lost enthusiasm as reviews were a really bad payer when you take the time spent on it into consideration. Well done for giving it a go, you might really enjoy it
Hope you enjoy the concert stepmum, hope dd feels better soon xx
Oh Elysia, what a shame about the Christmas fayreI love going to those kind of things, we have a little Christmas craft fayre locally throughout December shich we will have a mosey around, if anything to get a bit of Christmas spirit.
Juliejim that sounds fab that experience, I have a ferrari driving experience which I was going to give hubby but I may exchange it for a break away for our anniversary.
Legend - thank you for the minimats hun, they arrived safely today albeit a little squished as our postie insists anything can and will fit through the post box if pushed hard enough lol. Dd is going to have one in her stocking and her cousin will have the other pack, knowing how much my daughter loves aquadoodle I think he is going to love it too. Thank you so much xxComping wishlist for 2017

Hi everyone.
Been a busy bee today, having a big sort out at home so we can clear the decks before the Christmas madnees. In the middle of it my sister turned up with her new fella. A mad hour ensued as she brought her puppy who is Murphy's brother.
Not done a lot of money making today. 1 on viva, and mostly Cha-ing today before pay day cut off at midnight. Trying to squeeze out every last penny I can.
Having a takeaway tonight, and looking forward to a long sit down, before more cleaning/degrotting tomorrow.
Elysia happy to look over your spreadsheet. I can do formulas, no problem. I might be able to use it to add tweaks to if I think on, and I am sure we can come up with some way of sharing it without everyone having to email you. I'll pm you my email address again.
Hope everyone has a nice evening.0 -
Loving this thread, really good work guys! Signed up for onepoll now!0

Aspella - well done on all your redeems and wins. In the week I tried to redeem again on RewardTV but my internet connection must be too slow. I couldn't do it fast enough if my life depended on it. Thanks for the ofter of the voucher off an experience. OH loved his Red letter experience yesterday and if no-one else has asked, please may I have it?
Lupyloo - you are very welcome to join in, and better still, you'll have a headstart on everyone who joins in January.Well done on your Nectar redeem - I must check my balance. I keep forgetting that one. Thanks.
Savvy - I'm sorry, I misunderstood. You're still a week behind? You can do it hun. We know you can. Thanks for telling us about the Mr T promotion. I didn't know about that one.
Legend - Thanks for telling me about the Stig outfits. I managed to pick one up and I'm going to offer it to a friend.
JulieJim - Ohh that sounds very nice. How lovely will a weekend away be? And such a bargain. I'm going to have a look too - I might have to give the CC a bashing.
ETA: Hiya Kwak. Welcome to the thread. Get signed up to everything in the first post and you'll have a headstart for January too.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hello Ladies
Sorry I've abandoned you all the last few days - I literally haven't had 5 spare minutes!
I promise to read over everything I've missed after work tonight, and get back to you all in the morning.
Happy moneymaking
