I was serious about helping Elysia, though didn't realise that you had already done one. I was thinking i might be able to do it quicker than you. I know when other people have shared docs, they have done it via google docs. I have never used it myself, so no idea how it works, but they use it on a few of the MFW challenges.


For those of you who wanted a job at Cha and missed out, I just spotted a new one. Ask Ollie. They are hiring at the minute. Saw someone had applied for it. No idea if it is worth doing, but thought I would mention it.

Just a quickie before I turn the laptop off for the night

I received a £10 voucher from McCains today! It was the one I ordered about a month ago but I was certain it wasn't going to appear after they seemed to cancel my account. I was sure they had realised about the possible points error so I was really surprised to get the voucher in the post today. Has anyone else received anything from them?

Nicky - I 'threatened' to write a bad review about McCains if I didn't receive the money I redeemed 10 1/2 weeks ago. They said it kept being bounced back by Hotmail, so I sent them another email addy and still nothing, so I may just do it now.

Michelle - that is so lovely of you to volunteer. All we've done is copy last years one - I wonder if you can come up with anything better. Can I email it for you to have a look at?

It was just the formulae I was stuck on - it's been about 10 or more years since I last did a spreadsheet. DD1 managed to work them out I think. It isn't going to work being posted on a blog is it? I got all excited then and as soon as you said Google Docs, I knew I was wrong. I'll just have to email it - what I was trying to avoid.

I hope you are ok. How's the boys and OH? I miss not having you join in on here. I'm glad you are keeping motivated though. Things are going slow for me - I seem to have redeemed on lots, but have no payments coming through. They're taking their time.

Savvy - well done on getting your Uni work done. I bet you feel like a weight has gone off your shoulders. It's horrible when you think you are behind, and you have no idea if and when you'll ever catch up. I'm so glad DD is feeling better.

No need to give me thanks about the secret santa - Foxy is doing all the hard work. I'm just worried now that whoever I get likes my suggestions.

Still loving my new job and things are starting to come along on Doo, there's so many reviews to do so little time :rotfl:
What does everyone have planned for the weekend? I'm working 4pm-3 am :eek: So have nothing planned.

I'm still finding Global to be slooowwww, i only have 210 points and have really been trying and have been attempting every one that is sent through? Is anyone else having trouble with global?

Morning all

I am going to start putting the new fabric on the sofa this morning, so really hoping it doesnt take long and I can finish it off today. If I can get it finished then we are going to B&Q tomorrow to look at the wall paper. The new curtains came yesterday and they look nice in the bag so should be fine. OH is going to take the old ones down today and paint the window frame then we can leave them down all day and hopefully the paint will be dry by tonight to put the new ones up. Elysia, I have been updating my blog with some photos showing how the sofa is going. Its added as a new page at the moment until I have finished it completely then I will copy it over to a normal blog entry.

I managed a viva survey this morning, only the one though. There wasnt much else in my inbox, I did start one on SN but it crashed half way through so gave up on it.

Done 1 Viva and it hasnt credited yet so hopefully will tomorrow! I havent attempted to do anymore on there as I will do it when X Factor is on later as off down Mums in abit! Sold some more stuff on fb so thats £8 already today! At least if I skive tonight I have hit target!

Rhubarb - I'm the same on both sites. I need some inspiration to review at the minute. I always find it tough at this time of year. The big day is only five weeks away, and I don't want to buy anything else, but anything I earn now will go to spending money for the sales.

GOP/Sinovate - has just changed to Wanderbug hasn't it? It's a toughie. I have just redeemed for a £5 voucher on there five minutes ago. It's my second one, and looking back through my survey history I signed up on 26.6.09. You'll never be a millionaire with that one.
