I've pm'd you Foxy.
The list for the secret santa is as follows
Foxy
Skiergirl
Stepmum
Legend
Savvy
Sparkleychel
Claros

If I've missed anyone or if you would like to be added, could you please let us know before the weekend?
We'll do it the way Mum2one does - names out of a hat, and you choose three items from the highstreet that you think that person would like up, Maximum £10.
Is that ok with everyone?
Just a flying visit to say 'Me too please'!Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -
Legend - I'm glad you finally got paid, and enjoyed your treat at the hairdressers. I told you karma would be kind.
Savvy - Oh those gifts you've asked for, sound wonderful. I really love the idea of the fingerprint pendant.
Bunbun - I hope you feel better when you up the dose of your tablets, and I hope DS had a great day yesterday. It was DD2's Best friends birthday yesterday and they both went to see Arthur Christmas - I'm gutted because I wanted to go too.
Rufus - I never imagined recovering the sofa to be such a big job. You'll get there in the end. I can't wait to see the end result. Well done on all those surveys too.
Claros - well done on the voucher. It's nice seeing some results for your hard work, isn't it?
Boat Girl - There are 4 of us in our family, and scanning a full weekly shop takes about 5 mins extra that's all. As I take an item out of the bag, I scan it, and put it away. It's really easy. Don't worry, you'll be fine.
Chel - well done. A piney always saves the dayI've done well, I've had three this week.
How's everyone else doing? I'm sorry if I've missed you.
I went to the Christmas fayre today - and although there were lots of lovely things, I've bought all my presents so I didn't buy much. My mum, and two sisters spent loads though. We queued up to get a cookbook autographed off Ainsley Harriet (my sister collects autographed recipe books). He's lovely, and really friendly.
ETA: Hiya Nicky - of course you can hun. How's everything?I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

I just need to double check with Foxy if it's still ok, but as she so kindly volunteered to help, I should imagine it would be.
We'll give it another day - incase anyone is missing and then over the weekend can you list about three or four suggestions/ideas about what you would/wouldn't like - such as.........no nuts as I'm allergic, I love craft items, I like blah, blah, blah, I don't have pierced ears, I'm dieting so no chocolate. No smellies as I have excema.
This needs to be pm'd to Foxy.
After the weekend, Foxy will then draw names out of the hat, and tell you who choose a present for, and pm you their suggestions/ideas/do not like list.
You then choose three items of £10 value what you think the recipient would like. Write the items down - such as Argos 999/9999 or the specific item, M&S dark chocolate truffles, and when you have 3, pm it back to Foxy and she will pass them back. This needs to be done by Sunday of the following week (27th November) at the latest, as time is running out.
When you receive your list of three items - you can either get your other half/someone to choose one and buy it without you knowing,(make sure you give them the money. LOL) OR just choose the one you'd like most.I get DD1 to choose, buy and wrap it, so it really is secret, but it's up to you.
Don't forget to wrap it and label it from your secret santa, and if it's a surprise (like mine will be) NO PEEKING!
I've tried to write it as clear as I can (sorry if it sounds like I'm preaching), but I just wanted to try and explain it simply, as to avoid confusion). :A
Of course I'm happy to help!
Everyone who has said they want to be a part of Secret Santa needs to let me know over the weekend their likes and dislikes, and if there is anything in particular you would like (for me its the new JLS album lol). It is exactly like Elysia said and should be quite simple, but if you have any questions just ask!
Just don't forget to pm me your likes and dislikes - this is the most important thing!
Getting excited already :jMotto: You gotta be in it to win it!:j

Am back! Been out for some drinks for a friends birthday which was nice as I could actually afford to go! Havent had a huge amount but will tide us over and get me out the overdraft and the regular payments start next week! Woohoo!
Got a few selection boxes on way back and had to get new PJ's for DS as its PJ day in school tomorrow for Pudsey and he mainly has shorts and tshirt pjs as he sweats so much during sleep! Nothing warm enough for being outside! £9?! Crikey no wonder I never pay full price for pjs!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Morning everyone
I have had a stressful few days as me and hubby have been going through our finances and it is not good! We seem to have more going out then whats coming in and I just can't see that there's anything that we can cut back on and I'm starting to panic now as xmas is fast approaching and I am so unorganised this year!! I've heard a few of you talk about doing case studies, diaries and online focus groups and I was wondering if any of you could let me know where you are getting these from as I have singed up to all the survey sites mentioned on the first page but have never been invited to anything like this and I could really do with the extra money from doing things like that. Anyway, moan over lol!!!
legend - So glad you got paid!! Hope you had fun at the hair dressers and out with your friends - you deserve some luck with all the kind things you've been doing. Well done on your T bargains too, I often pop on the T board and write lists of things to look out for but I can never find anything in my local T!
Foxy - I woud like to sign up for secret santa too please
Boatgirl - s&s is so easy and quick to do. I've only been doing it for about 5 weeks and when it first turned up I thought 'oh my god, this looks complicated!' but once you get into it and have done your first scan it's fine. Well done on all your money making, sounds like you are doing really well hun.
Elysia - Glad you had a nice time at the gift fair. I have never been to one but I do hope to one day as they do sound really nice. Hope your well and having a good week.
Bunbun - sorry to hear that your all unwell, that's the only bad thing about this time of year, there's always something going around! Hope you all start to feel better soon.
Rufus - You sound really busy, but think how proud you will be once it's all done. Keep up the good work hun
Claros - Well done on your redeem. Good luck at your bootsale and upcoming craft fairs, hope you do well. I have often thought of taking some bits like the snowman soup to a car boot but the problem is that at our car boots people want everything for nothing. I will be selling something and someone will say how much and I say 20p and they say will you take 5p!!! So that puts me off! Will be interested to hear how you get on.
Emma - Sorry to hear about your other half, I hope everything gets sorted for you both soon. At least your very organised with all your xmas shopping so now you can just enjoy it.
Pablos - So glad that you are ok! As everyone else has already said, try and take things easy and not get too stressed!
Hope everyone else is ok and having a good week and really sorry if have missed anyone out.0 -
Dj - there are many more survey sites that are listed on the first page. I can send you a list to work through. I need to take DD2 to school first though. I've been doing surveys for two years now, and only just got invites to the online groups - it's all in the luck of the draw I suppose.
Boat girl - Yes they give you £10 worth of vouchers when you join up, and they take about two weeks to come. Can you just use a notebook for now, and keep details of your earnings in that? I'm going to get DD1 to help me do a new spreadsheet for the new thread, but we're both not very confident, so It might take a while

Morning
I didnt have any surveys this morning so nothing much to report. Busy day again so be back later xx0 -
Morning guys.
Had a pretty good day for redeems yesterday. £25 DY, £10 Ips plus £5 BP, so i got a good few presents ordered from amazon, some coming today. Yippee.
Otherwise, just pottering. Wrote a new game review for chow promotion.
djstar sorry to hear your budget is not working out. We aren't much better for now, but I know I can sort it in the new year so I am not stressing too much. Trouble with these things is there is no quick fix, and everyone is in the same boat aren't they really. Quick money before Christmas is going to be the main one - survey network, my survey, viva, and the reviews. Other sites take much longer to payout.
elysia do you want me to have a crack at this spreadsheet? I used to teach a bit of IT, and know my way round a little. All my household budget and income is in spreadsheet form. I can have a try and then send it to you if you like to see if it is what you think, then happy to email it to people. Doesn't have to be all singing does it, just some columns to work out what we are earning and where from, and then what we have spent compared to what we want to spend?
savvy hope your little one's mouth is ok now.
legend you sound happier now your money is sorted. Great timing there.
right, best feed the tiddler and crack on.0
