Morning all
I have been ordering the rest of the stuff to do our sofa this morning, was lovely having a long list and just going through it buying everything. Its all on its way now so I can hopefully make a start next week.
OH is out all day today so I am going to go and do some sewing, I have a cushion to finish off plus some bags to do.
I didnt qualify for any surveys this morning but dont mind after getting the two vouchers yesterday. The total is going up quickly on T anyway this month, I am impressed. My C balance went up by 79p and I had some more points added on DY.
Will be back again lunch time xx0 -
Well done Rufus. Have a lovely morning sewing. We'll see you later. xI :heartpuls M.S.E.

Grrrr! I need 20p to redeem on Viva! Just got half way through a washing machine survey on there and they screened me out! After 15 minutes of it! ARGH!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Legend - Viva are playing silly beggars lately - I'm £3 off redeem, but yesterday I must have started 8 surveys, and got booted off all of them. Same happened last week. I'm not liking the new changes.
FOXY - Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I've had to go back through the posts, as I read it late last night, and I woke up thinking I'd dreamt it. :rotfl: Tocco Lite, and ordinary Tocco are extremely easy to use for a first timer to touchscreen. The camera is rubbish though. The Tocco Ultra has the best camera on a phone on the market, but they are more expensive, but it's clunky and unresponsive. I've just traded mine in , and bought a Blackberry. The Tocco lite is fab I think. I've still got mine hidden in a drawer somewhere 'just in case'.

SECRET SANTA - You raised a brilliant point there - do we want to do a secret santa? Or would people rather do a card swap?
It could go along the lines of how Mum2one does it - Put names into a hat, and you buy a gift for one person only.
IDEA 1 - £10 budget, you get given a name of someone to 'buy' for and you choose three items from a high street shop, which the recipient goes out and chooses one (or gets someone else to choose one so it's still a surprise). That way no money or gifts actually change hands, and it's all kept amicable.
IDEA 2 - we could set say a £10 budget inc postage, but it will be a surprise, and come directly from the giver.
IDEA 3 - buy a gift through Amazon (using vouchers earned, and get it sent direct)Money Neutral
obviously names and addresses would have to change hands on the bottom two ideas, if you're not comfortable with it, or don't want to join in just say. I/we won't be offended.
We would have to give the present buyer some guidlines to go by though. No chocolate - allergic to nuts, doesn't have pierced ears blah blah blah though.
It wasn't done on this thread last year as there were only a handful of us here, but I think it would be a lovely idea, but I will only go along with the majority. I'll make a list of who's in, and what way we want to do it (if at all).
We need to get this sorted asap so let me know what you all think.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Thanks Legend - I hope they change it again this year. DD will know it's the same one else. I always pay for the download, and she watches it quite frequently.
I'll see if I can find the link to elf yourself - your DS will think it's hillarious.oooh Just in time. It opens tomorrow.

All you budding writers out there - I just saw a comp to write the opening paragraph to a historical novel. There's a chance to win a kindle everday. http://www.facebook.com/tesco?sk=app_161033847281768 Less than 500 words. Anyone fancy a go?
On the theme of writing - DoU have changed the levels again. I wondered why there were loads of sporting reviews lately. This was posted a while ago (I only just noticed) but it's on for a couple more weeks yet.
We’ve got a few level changes for you this fine Wednesday; no beating around the bush, let’s get straight into it! We’re moving the Dr. Hauschka category up into Level 1, and Tigi is moving back down into Level 2. Fitness is also on the way up into Level 1 - winter is a good time to be working out in the comfort of your own home, so we look forward to hearing from all the dooU fitness buffs! Household Products moves up from Level 3 into Level 2; as do Rucksacks and Desktop Publishing Software. Gadgets is taking a break from Level 1, and heading back to Level 2. Also moving down is Biography, CRT TV, and Other Beauty Products, which are all headed into Level 3.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
