  • I worked it out the other way, 15.4cm x 25(yards) = 375 for the spools. 150cm x 1(yard) = 150 which is the area. You need 5 yards of the longer material. 375/150 = 2.5 (metres) So your right 2 rolls would indeed be correct :) It would be cheaper to by the spools. Actually it works out ideal and much cheaper just the waiting time is so long for shipping. I best order sooner rather than later to get it here before Christmas. Was the netting the soft type instead of the hard scratchy type?

They look lovely by the way x

they didnt take too long to come from usa about a week
and yeah its soft not scratchy
    thanks x

Savvy and Chel - I'm just sat here confused. It doesn't take a lot. LOL. Chel - those tutu's look lovely. Such pretty colours.

Savvy - My craft order came 10 mins ago. It was in the hugest box available, and was stuffed full of packing - I reckon the box, and the packing inside came to what I paid in total, and then I had the items, and they had to send it out. What a bargain!!! If your cupcake stand doesn't come you can have mine. It's much larger than I expected.

If anyone does cross stitching - I have a set of Christmassy DMC threads going spare too. Black, red, green, gold and creams.

Another redeem - £5 paypal off one of the panels. I can't belive how well everyone is doing today - it's brilliant. :D

Legend - They should pay up. They have insurance for these types of things. You can get a bargain coat from Mr T now - they are all reduced to £20 ;)

Boat girl - welcome to the thread. Sorry I can't explain further - school run for me too. I'll be back to help later. Read the first few posts, and make yourself comfy - oh and congrats on your beautiful baby girl. What did you name her?

    thanks elysia, will do.

We have named her Tabitha May or Tabi for short, she really is adorable!

Have already joined swagbucks and the mccain site. Have also joined a few of the survey sites but will go through and join them all. If anyone wants to refer me feel free to PM me and I can use the referral if not already a member.

Want to start ebaying but not really all the clued up on ebay yet, have loads of junk to get rid of though so now is as good a time as any to learn.

Don't know anything about the review sites you use, again feel free to refer me if you like.

    Thanks

Congratulations Boatgirl and Welcome to the world Tabi!!! x

Well came home from school run and a £40 cheque on the doormat! Hand delivered no less! Cant believe they didnt even ask to see the coat or anything! Elysia I got a brown coat Monday in mr T's and some other bits and using double up and the sun voucher paid 0! lol
My Pink coat is still wearable although doesnt look like it used to, I just look like I have blobs of dirt on it! lol I do feel bad though as the cheque has written on it from the Round Table Charity Account so makes me feel like I am taking money from charity!

    HI Everyone,

I hope you are all ok. So sorry I havent been on here for ages and ages and still have a lot of pages to catch up on. Things have been pretty hectic around here but I am hoping I will get some time this week to read back over what I have missed.

Just to keep you updated I am on £55 on TCB, I have made one redeem on Ipsos panel and one on Toluna - not loads I know but I only discovered this thread a couple of months ago so Im pleased with myself.

Also I was wondering, I have just received an email from FamilyFoodDiary.com asking if I want to take part. It says I have to fill in a diary for every day for the next 2 weeks and I will get paid £15 in capital bonds vouchers - has anyone heard of this site and is it legit? The email says I have been contacted because I registered with volunteer4panels.co.uk but I dont recall ever having done this

Thanks and Im really looking forward to catching up on what you have all been doing whilst Ive been away x

Claros - yes you should be fine. It's a subsidiary of another company (can't actually remember which one). I've done a few of those.

Legend - Don't worry. They'll claim it back later. I'm glad you got the money, and even more so that the coat is still wearable.

Boat Girl - Ahhh Tabi (and Tabitha) is a lovely name.

Skiergirl and Chel - sorry to hear you both didn't get paid. :( That's the reason why I sat and did it there and then, and got in first. It's happened to me before.

  • Claros, it's part of S&S hun, I did the food diary a month or so back. Mine was slightly different, I got £15 s&s points then once the week was done they invited me to another week which again was £15. I would go for it, in fact if it was me I would bite their hands off lol.

No delivery for me today Elysia, such a shame as I was hoping to do something crafty tonight seeings as I have the house to myself.

Well done on the redeems all, must just be me not redeeming today then lol

No Savvy, I havent redeemed today either lol. In fact I have hardly done any money making all day, too busy thinking about this sofa. I have spent all afternoon watching videos on You Tube.

I havent got any surveys in my inbox so nothing to do there and I am up to date on T with the quick polls etc. I did have a load of points added either today or last night on there so my points doubled and I am over half way to next redeem already.

I went up town to look for a top, was going to go in Bon Marche as I had seen one online I fancied but as I was going past New Look I thought I would have a quick look in there and found a plain black top for £6.99 which will be fine under my jacket. I went in BM after and the top I had seen online was too short anyway. They had another one that was pretty with diamonte round the neck but it was £22.50 so would still have been quite a bit (well for me anyway) with the 30% off and the neck wouldnt have shown under my jacket.

Was looking for a necklace to wear with the outfit, wanted a pink one that is short but NL seem to have got rid of all their necklaces and just have bracelets and earrings left in ours so very poor choice. I am going to check my beads later and see if I have anything I can make one out of, if not I will wear something I already have.

I can wear it all Thursday eve as its ED's 30th and we are going round there for dinner, plus on Saturday we are all going out for a meal so I will wear it again then.
