Elysia, I think they are sending deliveries via courier so no need to blame hubby. Oh I hope something arrives for me tomorrow, it's going to be a crafty evening for me if so! Hope yours arrive tomorrow too. Thanks for the info on Whittards, it's a shame they put their prices up for the hot chocs they were £4 a few months ago but we dont have a store nearby anymore so might have to treat ourselves to some.
Hope you feel better soon Legend, nothing worse than you all being poorly
That is a really lovely offer foxy dd is 2 years old, I think I will see if I can find the tulle and give it a go but we only have one fabric shop nearby and it is fairly small so i'm not holding out too much hope but you never know. Been googling sweet trees too and might have to give chocolate pinecones a go too they look great.
Hubby is ok, he's been moaning about his back more thank his injury so I think it's probably just sore now rather than painful. I think he is enjoying not having to do anything around the house. Hope evryone else is well
My dd is 4 so the tutu (and wings!) I have would be a perfect size for her! I don't want anything for it Savvy, just let me know - or pm me your email and I will send you a picMotto: You gotta be in it to win it!:j

Welcome Boatgirl and welcome back Carlos!
I'm part of the no redeem club too!! Infact with a huge avon order to sort and deliver I have had no chance for any other money making.
We were away at the weekend, we went back to woolacombe for the final of the talent contest we won back in June. We had the weekend for free which was nice. Came in the top 6 but didn't win, but a good weekend. Chiko was the celeb(!) judge and although I don't rate him he seemed to be a really nice guy. Rubbed my arm and told me to break a leg and was fantatsic with any kids around him. A real sweet guy which surprised me as I though he was just a prat! lol Got some piccies of him with his shirt open which showed a not bad bod too!!!
Off for an early night now as my 2 I look after tomorrow are both arriving at 7.30am!!!!0 -
I really want to get into this but dont know where to start.
I've read through the pages and seen all the different names - can anyone point me in the right direction please - best payers, quickest surveys etc, etc,
You're all so genned up and I don't know what to do next.
Thanks Janmrs tooti-frooti0 -
Hi Mrs Tooti - take your time and read through the first few posts again. All the details are there. The ones on the first post are the most reliable, and quick to earn from - but there are many others which you can join as you feel more confident.
There are also review sites, and play for free (and earn vouchers) bingo sites, and then ebaying, selling on Amazon, Gumtree etc. We'll have you earning some money soon.
Just make sure you join in regularly - it keeps you motivated, and we'll all help you. If you still don't understand, let us know where you are stuck, and we'll try and help as best as we can.
Boat Girl - sorry I didn't get around to that list. I'll do it today. I logged off early last night and I'd completely forgot. Sorry.
Right ladies - what's the plan for today? I've already done five surveys and got screened from them all. It's OH day off, so I'm going into the City Centre to pick my M&S order. Hopefully when I get back I'll have some surveys I can actually do.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Morning Elysia, fingers crossed the postman comes today xx
Hello to Boatgirl and Mrs Tooti welcome to the thread xx
I had three surveys in my inbox, got screened out of two but finished the other then found it was just for prize draw. I will check T in a bit and see if there is anything on there yet today. I had two 6000 point ones yesterday eve that I finished from them so that will bump my points up when they add them. I didnt put any reviews on yesterday, I would have to write out some new ones as I havent any more on DY that would qualify for the bonus on C.0 -
Morning Elysia, just popping in before the school run.
I've got 2 ebay parcels to post, and another item selling that finishes later today. Have been on a course the last couple of days so haven't had time to think let alone do anything else, I did sneak into Primani and buy a couple of jumpers for DH and DS for their Christmas box, and yesterday found a gorgeous little jumper dress which has ballerina slippers on the front and the tutu at the bottom, I HAD to have it -not for me you understand, my DD will adore it!
Still waiting on my Amazon marketplace seller refund. I am giving them till Friday and am going to complain to Amazon again. They are very quick to take your money, and granted sent the item out quickly but they are dragging their feet about the refund, and I can't replace DS lego until I have the cash back in my account.
My dad has asked me to look for a payg phone for my mum for Christmas - anyone have any ideas. He wants a touch screen with a good camera, and I think she is on T Mobile. I have looked at the Samsung Tocco Lite and the LG Viewty snap - if anyone has either of these or can recommend another for me to look at I am open to suggestions!
May catch up more later.
BTW Legend - don't feel bad about your cheque, they will have insurance to cover something like this.Motto: You gotta be in it to win it!:j

I have the Samsung Tocco Lite Foxy, the phone is ok but the camera isnt that good, the photos seem to come out grainy, not very good quality but I am not sure if I could make the quality better by fiddling with the settings as I havent tried. I have had my phone nearly a year now and the battery stays charged well. One thing I dont like on it is the predictive text, it lets you save words to the dictionary but doesnt let you delete them and sometimes it saves things you dont want it to save. YD has been using my phone when in doors to text her mates and all the mispellings are on there now so when I am writing out a text it keeps putting the wrong words and I have to scroll down a list as long as your arm to find every day words that I use a lot. My old phone used to keep the words you use the most at the top so its quick to text.0

elysia2003 wrote: »I think Savvy's little one is just two Foxy. How are you hun? How's the money making going?
Hi Elysia, I am good thank you, things are getting back to normal and I am starting to feel a little more Christmassy.
Money making is still going okay, I have an ebay pile as long as my arm to list, and am hoping to do a bit this afternoon once I have done some cleaning.
Need a real push at it in the next few weeks. I've had my T clubcard vouchers come in the post today - think am going to exchange for Cinema or theatre tickets for presents, and will save others as OH is taking me to London for our 10th anniversary next year, so will be nice to save the vouchers up to do a little sightseeing whilst we are there (its not till September, far too far away to get excited!).
Been on a course this week, which I've found hard going, got 2 more days of it in a couple of weeks and then an exam at the end of it, which I want to get out of the way before Christmas.
Will start my wrapping and card writing in earnest next week.

Morning ladies
That is very kind of you foxy, only if your sure hun? My daughter is mad about dressing up at the moment, she has a tutu type skirt when she was around one which she found and tried to put on a few weeks back, it didn't fit her waist so she was walking around with it around her legs the silly thing. She wasn't to pleased when we had to pack it away now she's too big for it.
Welcome to the thread Mrs Tooti, my best advice is dive right in. I think Viva is a nice one for getting your head around surveys, but they all are good if you do the surveys as they come into your inbox. there are so many ways to make a few extra pounds it's worth giving it a go and you may be surprised how much you make. Once your set up you will soon find each day you have surveys in your inbox to complete, viva you need to log in to see what is available but they don't take too long.
Sounds like you got some lovely clothes in there Foxy, I dont shop in there myself but sounds like their clothes are lovely despite the sometimes negative image it's portrayed as. Might have to take a quick peek when I'm that way next.
I'm not sure about the cameras on smartphones Foxy, I had an HTC HD2 but wasn't aware I had to clean the cache (as it runs on stupid windows) so now it is a brick in the drawer until I can effectively reinstall windows on it. Anyway, the camera wasn't overly fantastic on that one either which you would expect for a £450 phone. You may need to check the website of somewhere like carphone warehouse to compare the cameras on the ones you were thinking of, or maybe ask instore?
Hope you have a good day out Elysia, hopefully there will be some surveys waiting for you when you get back.
Rufus your phone sounds like mine, I wonder if it can be programmed back to the correct words instead of the mistakes?
I made £35.50 from a fb sale yesterday (after postage) and an unexpected refund of £4.60 so it's all gone onto my totals. So close to my goal this year! I need to start my uni course today otherwise I will be too far behind to catch up. I am also hoping my craft order arrives today, I will have to email them to check I think. Also hoping an fb swap gets posted today as that will be £40 vouchers to come my way and some paypal which will take me up to my target
Oh no just realised I need to authorise the editing on our photoshoot pics, order from hobbycraft and ebay as well. Busy busy day.Comping wishlist for 2017
