Hi Michelle - have you done anything nice today? How's cha going?

Did anyone get the £10 off paypal at all? I didn't but I didn't expect to really.

  • Well done Elysia. I am so far off done it is unbelievable, but I bought another couple of bits today for the remaining birthdays of the year for girlies, and so now I can concentrate on getting the main event sorted. I will write a full list once the kiddies are back at school and I can get everything out, as I bet I've forgot half of what I got my two.

We went over to a big smyths store with the kids, and let them go mad as DS1 got lots of birthday cash, and DS2 still had some left from May birthday too.

Bit of shopping, then home, where they have played with the new toys all afternoon. I've been money making. DH has done 3 loads of washing for me, including using the TD and getting it in cupboards, done some cleaning, and sorted the kids out, so I could just get on, and it is amazing how much less stressful it is not trying to do it all.

Pay from Cha hit my bank account yesterday. Didn't last very long as I needed to pay the credit card bill and the council tax, but it was a great help.

Balance is already back at £13 from a few days. It is getting a bit quicker on there. I have been multi tasking and knitting more of murphy's jumper, and i also have a big fat chinese takeaway planned for this evening, as it is my wedding anniversary (6 years). We'll eat, then I am going to take the night off and watch some telly with DH and knit I think.
  • Hi,
Have been rather remiss with my surveys recently. Still recovering after having an awful Saturday last week when one of beloved cats Fred suddenly collapsed and quickly developed paralysed back legs :( At first I though he had either eaten something bad or had been hit by a car as he had been fine about an hour before. But it turned out to be “saddle thrombus”. http://www.manhattancats.com/Articles/Arterial_Thromboembolism.html
It was heartbreaking seeing him trying to drag himself to the cat flap and try and get out. With a constant and loud howl. I got him to the vets at midnight but an hour later he had another blod clot to his lungs and died soon afterwards. I really wish he had died straightway as he was in so much pain. He was my late sisters cat who I inherited after she died. And was the second cat I lost this year. Both along with our other two real members of the family... RIP

Michelle - I forgot to say earlier - happy anniversary. I did remember this morning but internet was still off when I thought about it. Enjoy your chinese, and have a lovely quiet evening.

Flycatchers - I'm so sorry to hear your news. It must be like a double blow, losing your sisters cat. Sending you big hugs ((())). Get back into surveys and at least you'll have something to focus on and take your mind off it a little.

Rufus - Hiya hun. How's your day been? Is YD out tonight?

For those that did the Living soc - My ebay tracked 1,501 Boots points woohoo. I'll have about £54 now for the sales. :)

Hi Elysia, yeah YD is out again, and tomorrow night. All alone and bored lol. I was waiting all day hoping that lady would contact me again and hadnt heard back since yesterday, then I went to empty my spam folder and there were two emails from her in there lol. I have emailed her back but she said she would be out all day today until this evening so hopefully she will buy the cushion tonight and then I can do it up and have it ready for the post office for Monday. Will be a nice £25 which will make up for the lack of surveys over the weekend. I wish we still had the other bingo to go on or something, I cant be a**ed to do WH now you need to get double the points, I wasnt even near getting the first lot than alone another lot.
  • Flycatchers I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my cat, who was a Fred too, at the start of the year, and it is a big miss no longer having them.

Chinese was yum. I am so full now.

I am thinking of pretty much giving up bingo. Cha is taking up so much time really, and I get paid more for concentrating on that. They have just set on some new factfinders who get 7p per Q they answer, if anyone wants something new to do.

I have it running a lot in the background, but my logic is I am on anyway reading/writing/rating/bingoing, and it just interupts what you are doing a little bit, then you get back to it. Not everyone likes/wants to be flipping around between websites like this, but it is working money wise for me.

Anyone know if there are any decent films or anything on tonight? I've not picked up a telly guide and no idea.
