Rufus - what fabric did you try to buy? Was it Cath Kidston? I can get you some if you let me know before I head out? I've been trawling everywhere for navy lever arch files but still none to be found. :(

Legend - thanks again hun. DD is like a kid in a sweet shop atm. :D Thanks for the info on the toysale. I'll be popping in, but I bet it's all toddler toys.

Savvy - try and have a rest this afternoon. I'm glad you're feeling a bit more like you old self.

Nicky - I have no measure for the whisky. I just put a couple of big spalshes in. Probably about three lid fulls. I figure out over the three or four jarfulls, it doesn't work out much, and you only spread a little bit on your toast. :) We're making the strawberry one this afternoon, plus some cakes. DD2 just told me :) It sounds like a baking day for everyone. Ahh bless DS. Something has just triggered a memory - I still get that from DD2 and she's nearly 9. :)

Sorry off out now rufus - but I go there quite often, so can get you some another time, if you let me know what and how much.

  • Morrning guys.

I got my lie in this morning, and DH has just took the boys to the dad's group. Nice one for me. They get to build robots and have bacon butties. I get some peace and quiet for a bit, and get some stuff done. Win win. I hope its good as it is once a month, and they would really enjoy it I think.

Nice and sunny here, so I'm going to try and clear some of the washing, and get some real life stuff done. I'll only have next week to get sorted before the puppy comes the week after, and so much to do.

Must ring the online specs company today too as they wanted to talk through my prescription. Nothing is ever simple.

Right, I'm back, picked up a barbie princess fairy doll thing £1.80, barbie lifeguard set £1.80, thomas sodor mega block set £3 and a Disney Fairies Jewellery Set £1. They went within moments of the tesco employee changing the labels luckily I was looking at the toys when her arrived to change them so I had first pick :D

Thanks legend for telling us the toy sale started today :D

  • Rufus - my Dad hates Ikea and a few years ago he successfully took them to the small claims court (long story) and sued them for around £500, mainly due to poor customer service and failing to put mistakes right.

I've just been browsing the Argos website. I only went on to look at a bed we want for DS. He's outgrown his toddler bed and he's seen a metal midsleeper with a tent underneath. We've been meaning to get it for a few weeks and haven't got around to it, now I've just seen it's been reduced by £20 :D. I had a little browse of the clearance items and found 4 nice presents for various people, coming to just over £20. I have reserved them at our local store, 3 out of 4 of them were the last ones left, phew! I'll tell DH it's like the presents are free, since we're saving £20 on the bed :D

Right, lunch break over, off to make some butterfly buns with DS now.

I nipped up to T yesterday and they didn't really have anything on offer. Would love to get the Polly Pockets boat for DD for xmas, if anyone is kind enough to see one and pick one up for me I will happily pay for the item and postage. Just a thought.
Full of cold as well, but on a lighter note because all my sinuses are blocked made me so tired I slept properly last night - well from about 1.30!
