Back from Ikea and the biggest T's I've ever seen. God knows how we missed that one. ;)

There were loads of Thomas Mega blocks on the shelf (but I have no-one to buy them for), there was a playdoh puppy toy, but none left as other people had got there first, there was also a Crayola Sticker machine for £1.75. I got the last one for DD2.

We must have just timed it right for the hairstraighters, I bought three Toni & Guy Pink ones for £3.06 each, for presents and Two babyliss pairs for £1.86 each for spares, so if anyone wants a pair let me know. The SA tried to get the security stickers off as best as she could, and the beeby tag thing, but she made a bit of a mess - the straighteners are ok though, and you throw the box away. ;)

There were two MSE'ers there with their trollies stacked up high with toys, there were also pink megeblocks in a box, as well as the stuff I mentioned previously.

We hung around for a while, to see if they put anything else out, but they didn't. I hope everyone manages to get some bargains.

Glad you managed to get some sleep foxy, if it still is bad in a few weeks it is worth going to the doctors to get something to help with the anxiety. Sadly our store has put a note on in the warehouse (more like banner apparantly) stating that none of the glitching polly pockets or barbies are allowed on the shop floor. I'm still on the lookout for the car too, can't find it for love nor money but as dd has three different barbies set aside it makes sense to go for the set.

Skiergirl, hope you had fun at the demo.

Thanks again Legend, I think they hate me too, I only go in when something is glitching or dtd etc and I think they know it lol.

Cross posted with you elysia, well done on your bargains, I couldnt find the electricals in our store, searched everywhere but there was a guy with his trolley full to the brim :( Would have loved to have found a decent hairdryer cheap. Obviously the ebay sellers are out in force
    Comping wishlist for 2017

Sorry Skier girl - I hadn't noticed your message, until Savvy said.

Is it all definite about OH now? Will it be easy for him to find another job soon, (some trades are better than others aren't they?) or do you think his job is hard to find at the moment? I hope he finds one soon. You never know something may turn up. My dad was made redundant, and they just paid him his redundancy, and he got called back into work. He was laughing, as he'd just had a biggish payout. You never know - I'll keep hoping for you. :)

What was the craft demo on? I love all things like that. I've taken glass painting courses, jewellery making, card making, flower arranging. I love it all. Did you get to do anything or just watch. Please post some pics, I'd love to see.

Is you Dad OK this week? And you? How's your Knee? Oops Sorry for all the questions.

  • hey everyone :D. Did some extra at work today to try and catch up on all my work ready for my probation meeting this week. If they take me to full client base I can start earning bonus! So want to try do everything I can to get increased :D. 4 months has flown by hasnt it Elysia?! Whats this above Tesco hair straighteners?! I must have missed that one! Going to go check grabbit now :D. Have you tried them? I am a total GHD girl but mine are getting on abit now and would not be able to afford a new pair if they broke. Ive always had extremely long hair but last week I had it all chopped off to a long bob! Was a very big shock but loving having short hair, only takes 5 mins to blowdry! hahaha

Ooh very posh. What made you have it cut? - These are only slim ones but would be ideal if your hair isn't very thick, or for travelling (not too heavy). DD1 has GHD's I bought last christmas, and DD2 has the very mini ones. These are sort of inbetween.

Here they are £18.99 on Boots. http://www.boots.com/en/BaByliss-Pro-215-Worldwide-Straighteners_7011/?CAWELAID=334481194&cm_mmc=Shopping%20Engines-_-Google%20Base-_---_-BaByliss%20Pro%20215%20Worldwide%20Straighteners

It's definitely happening, he's got an interview next week but it would be a 1.5 hr commute each way, so we'll see.
The craft demo was a do crafts one, the problem is she uses things you 'have' to have so it can end up very expensive. I love watching as she always does gorgeous cards :)
Dad had chemo again this week and was ok, I was at physio this week for the first time since he got ill - I've just stopped aching :rotfl:
    Thanks for asking xx

Best get off here and make some food !

Oooh, thanks for that! I'm off to Tesco tomorrow so I'll definitely have a look for these as he doesn't have either :D
