Morning all
I had a look at the stuffy toy, it would be easy to make if you have all the right fabrics, but I dont have anything like the fabrics used so I would have to buy new stuff and it would cost quite a bit really. I can see why kids like it though, its so simple yet cute. May be they will have some come out nearer to Christmas once everyone gets the toys in?
That sewing machine looks a good offer if you can get it for £20!0 -
I've been investigating T more this morning and I've found some of you on there. I've written 2 replies in response to opinion questions so am I right in saying I get 100 points for them if they're over 80 words? One of them is on 1 of yours Elysia so could you have a look to see if I'm doing it right please? Better go and sort the kids out now and do the school run.
Catch you all later

Oh Sorry Elysia I missed where you first mentioned in your post about the sewing machine. I always get confused when people say about an 'extra' T. How do you know if it is an extra? I have 2 large 24 hour ones within 10 mins drive of me so I presume they are 'extra' Ts? But I could be completely wrong. Will have to try and get there this week sometime after work to see if they have any in, they are a fab price thank you0

Thanks guys for best wishes for DS2. He was off very happily. Ran off as the teacher opened the gate, first in the building, and very happy as his coat peg had a picture of Buzz light year, who is his all time favourite.
I've managed to get the bedding washed and do a bit of chacha, and not get too upset. Will try and load a piccie of the 2 of them in school uniform later for you guys to see. He was so cute. My biggest concern for him is him going to the loo on his own. He still has so many accidents, and his trousers are quite hard to pull up and down as his tummy is big. Poor thing. I bought age 4-5, but I'm having to hope he will have a growth spurt and lose a little round his tummy.
I am feeling a bit too tired after being up late all weekend, and a bit uninspired about what to write about. A review I wrote on Friday and added to C has gone live.
Elysia i can write both of those for you no probs, give me a couple of days, and it will be done.
juliejim sounds like you have it all figured out now with T. I find my biggest problem is remembering to go every day as I get so bored with it. Thinking I might write myself a list like a daily check off of everywhere i need to go daily, like onepoll, toluna, swagbucks, and see how i go.
Have a good one everyone.0 -
Yes the large 24 hour ones are Extra's
I hope you manage to get one. DD is having a sewing machine for Christmas off my mum - she's having the pink one from Argos , but I did try and find that one because it would have been cheaper.
Rufus I can understand you not being able to do it - it doesn't look like it costs a lot per item. But if you only made one you'd be left will lots of wasted material over and it's not the type of stuff you could re-use elsewhere mores the pity.
Julie Jim. Thanks for replying to my opinion. You're right, you do get 100 points for a reply over 80 words. I type my reply in a word document first to make sure I've over 80, and then cut and paste it into T. I'll go and check in a minute and let you know. I'm sure it will be fine.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Good morning everyone, hope we are ready and raring to go this week
Looking at he materials needed for stuffy you are rght rufus, it would be quite expensive unless they decided to release the toys I imagine only a manufacturer could make them cheaply bulk buying materials. Sadly the show has been on at least since 2009 and no toys as yetThanks for having a look though
Need to go to tesco today so will keep an eye out for the sewing machine, thanks for the link Elysia.
Decided Im going to ask for a personalised finger print charm bracelet with dd's finger print and message. Nice and simple. Spent a little bit too much tome looking at notonthehighstreet yesterday.
Having a good start to the week, s&s invited me to a panel so will be £10 up, and my other panel should pay £20 amazon next week tooComping wishlist for 2017

Michelle - sorry, I must have been typing as you posted.
They expect a few accidents - He'll be fine Have you packed him some spares just in case?
I was worried about DD2 a fortnight ago. I had to buy her age 11 trousers, to fit her tummy, as in the bigger sizes they aren't elasticated. She's tall, definitely not fat, but not skinny either. They are too big already will all the running and PE. It's half an hour there and back to school and we walk it, so although she didn't stop during the holiday, the increased activity has done her some good.
Thanks for doing those things for me honey. If you make them detailed, perhaps they could be made into reviews, and that way they are not wasted so to speak.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hope your ds has a lovely day michelle, sounds like he has taken to it like a duck to water
I love that website as I'm not keen on the mass produced items that are on the high street, the one I am looking at would be £165 all in (nearly faints) so I think I will buy the charms from the lady selling on there and then hold out for a sale at links of london. They have nice bracelets which would be cheaper but then the added cost of soldering the charms on. Still, it's a unique presenet which will be much more cherished than a perfume or a pair of socks lol
Also a little bit in love with etsy and folksy at the moment too, such beautiful items. Must remember to save... not spendComping wishlist for 2017

I've just picked him up. He has had fun, but he said he lost his brother, which made him sad (They are both in the same foundation unit) and I asked him about morning snack and he said that he wanted a banana, someone else took the last one, and he just burst into tears on me about it. Bless him. No accidents though, so I am pleased there.
I did send a bag in with spare clothes in case. He's not necessarily that tubby. He's just a large boy all over, like DS1. He's 5 in a few weeks, and I just had to buy him age 6-7 t shirts. They both have the same size upper half measurements for arm length, back length, but DS2 is 1 inch bigger in the waist and shorter legged.
I need to be back at school for 1 to pick up DS1. I think this is going to be a stupidly busy week.0
