  • I've never seen any. We do know our very own lady on this thread who makes lovely sewn items though. Commision Rufus to make you one. ;)
  • I don't know who stuffy is LOL, but I've bought things of Rufus a few times and they are beautifully made. I can't wait to give my neice the little rag doll style bunny. :) Rufus can I be on commision? :rotfl:

There's a guide to dooyU already on the first post, but if it's not clear, it can be updated ready for the new thread. :)

Michelle thanks for the recipe. They sound delish. Mmmm. Good news about the puppy - with puppies and babies, everyone on here has their hands full ;)

  • I rang my mum to ask her to make sure no-one else bought it, and she was so confused as we left their house just after 6 with me with a pet lip on, and DH very firmly going No to me, and within 2 hours I rang her back to say we were having him.

I must be crazy, as I am finally getting a few hours a day to myself, but I know what I am like, and I get so bored and lonely with nothing to keep me company. The cat is no good as he is so anti-social he disappears for hours. There is only so many surveys and other online things I can do, and house sorting, before I will be rattling round.

My mums dogs are this pups parents, and they are so much fun. They have a bit of a play, then a long sleep. I'm sure I will have a mad few months, but it will be worth it.
  • Good new on the chihuahua michelle, how lovely to have a new addition to tha family :D

I know there is a quick guide on the front page for the review sites but was thinking if there was a little guide with hint and tips, like mentioned above, adding pictures etc. Was just thinking because you all do very well with getting the Es that you would have tips of the trade so to speak lol.

I like rufus's items, must take a look in her shop and see her lovely makes. I dont suppose there is a link to the sewing machine that is reduced in tesco is there Elysia? just thinking with having a month off from uni next month I could start on the fabric storage cubes project i had found and could give making a 'stuffy' a go.

That's Ok Savvy - I did add the bit Michelle found out about the pf, but it all needs updating. ;) I'll work my way through it, a bit at a time.

I'll see if I can find the sewing machine. I did look in T today but none in mine.

Thanks for finding the link Michelle - he/she/it should be easy to make. :)

  • I'm happy to help you write something for chow and DY Elysia. Maybe take one each? I know how much work you put in here.

I was also thinking to myself this thread had got huge. Don't board guides usually tell people to start new threads when they go over 100 pages, and this one is huge. Do you think we need a part two this year? We all chat so much.
  • Michelle - Just popped on to say good luck to DS2 and I hope he enjoys his first day at nursery :)
Thanks for the recipe too, I can't wait to give it a go.

It's normally around 5000 posts so we've gone way over.

The card making thread has over 10,000 posts but if we are all in agreement I'm very happy to lock this thread and do a part two. :D I can't believe how big we have got either. Last year from March time there were just five of us, me, Rufus, Nicky, Susan and Bunbun. It's doing so much better than expected, so thankyou ladies, for your help and dedication. :)

It'll take me a couple of days though to re-organise and update the first posts. I would be so grateful of any help, however little, so thanks Michelle, for your kind offer. If you could perhaps write a hints and tips guide to Chow as you are the expert there, and maybe chacha too ? ;):D

I don't usually post first thing either, but wanted to wish DS a good day at school too. Give him a hug from all of us too.
