I'd say save your time a bit, and just jump right in and use the time you save to get on with doing stuff. If you really need to know something just ask, as I am sure we will be around and willing to help. We all started that way.

Good to see you skiergirl - How's things with your dad hun?
Thanks for asking, we were at the hospital on fri. They have said it can't be cured but they are hoping to contain it with chemo which starts in a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed.

I haven't started making my christmas cards either - and my craft stuff is behind a huge pile of stuff for ebay - large kick up the bum needed !

    Hi moomi :D

Hiya Moomi - Welcome to our lovely thread. :)

You can subscribe, you click thread tools on the thin green banner at the top, and you can choose to receive an alert every time someone posts, as I do, or at midnight every evening and you'll see who's posted and said what - trouble is then, you're a day behind if you see what I mean. Just pop in as and when you can, and if you have any questions just go ahead and ask. :)

Reminder everyone - no-ones mentioned it yet. S&S today and Tissue for Legend. :)

Michelle - that was just what I needed. Thank you hun. I've written two reviews, posted one on each site, and saved one for tomorrow. OH and DD2 have just gone out bike riding (dodging the showers) and have left me in peace for half an hour, so I might even go for it and do a third. :D

Kick up the bum for Skiergirl coming up ............ There you go, now get a shift on ;)

ETA: I really can't express how sorry I am, but you have to keep your hopes up that things will work, and he'll be here for a good few more years yet. They can work wonders nowadays - everyone goes in the end, it's inevitable, but he'll have a while longer than without any treatment at all. Fingers and arms and legs crossed. You just have to make the most of every day he's here. :)

  • Welcome to all the newbies

My son had a great 2nd birthday yesterday. We went into town and he spent his birthday money on some more toys! We had tea out too which was a big treat for us all. We went to the Handmade burger co and have to say it was fantastic and the service was the best I have had. My eldest son is an awful eater he always has been the youngest is the opposite! The eldest choose a chicken junior burger when it came to it he wouldn't eat it, no surpise there! The manager of the resturant happened to be sat behind us having his dinner and overheard my son moaning. He ordered the kitchen to make my son a fish finger burger to replace his chicken burger. We honestly told him it didn't matter but he insisted. Can't believe how generous they were. I would highly recommend the place for children friendly.

Back onto money making I have managed another review. Up to 18/20. It has been a struggle this month.

Watched the grand prix this afternoon. What did you think Rufus? I thought it was a good race a lot going on enjoyed it.

Sorry to hear about your dad skiergirl.

Skiergirl - sorry, I hadn't realised your dad was ill. I hope all goes as well as it can for him. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Elysia - happy to motivate whenever hon. ;) Glad it worked. It did for me a bit too.

Claire - we enjoyed it the once we ate there, and I had thought about going back with the kids at some point. They sound like they were really good. Make sure you check out my post on the last page about chow premium fund. Interesting info about it.

We've done a bit more cleaning and decluttering today. Dh bought a new window squeegee kit thing, and has been doing all my windows. :rotfl:Keeps him quiet. :D

I enjoyed the race Claire, I was glad Jenson came in third, he seems to do well when he had a lot to pass. I was a bit gutted for Lewis though.

I am watching the football at the moment but thinking about doing another review this evening.

Skiergirl, sorry to hear about your Dad xx
  • Glad you enjoyed it rufus. I was happy Button managed to get 3rd. Hamilton is a great driver but has made some big mistakes this season.

Got another review written in word.
