Thanks for the tips regarding Ebay.

On another matter am I doing McCains right? All I seem to do each week is play the games and get about 30 Spuds. Is there more to it than that? :wall:

nicnax loads of us here do shop and scan, and it is definitely worth getting on if you can. I have been doing it for 5 years, and get somewhere round £100 per year.

Been out for the afternoon, visited mums pups, and I REALLY want one of them. DH is not playing ball yet, but we will see if I still feel this way in a few weeks as they are not quite 6 weeks old yet.

School shoes are now bought. we've also done a fair old declutter so the house is a bit tidier now, and I've replaced my broken rotary washing line using some ipsos vouchers, which always feels nice.

Sorry Nixnax - I didn't see that you'd added to your post. I would have replied. :A

S & S is great - so easy and quick to do.

I was on another one called Niels0n. It was the biggest con going - I was on there about a month before I joined S &S and in the time I've redeemed nearly £30 on S&s, I got enough points on the N one for a glass bowl that would have cost £2.99 if that. It took about half an hour or more to do the scanning, but s&s takes less than 5 mins, plus 5 minutes for uploading the receipt and clicker. It's well worth it.

Karonher - You're doing McCains right. Sometimes they have a survey on, and it'll boost your points. If you 'like' them on FB and 'share' the games you get some more too. I don't know what's happening with the extra points - did you not get any extra added? :(

Michelle - well done on getting DS's school shoes. I bet it was chocka. We couldn't move in T for parents buying school uniform :)

I've been on Grabbit again - I got a £60 sodastream for someones christmas pressie for £25 (probs 21 after cashback and points) and got DD2 UDraw for the Wii for £50 (the normall price) but it included two free £20 games. :) I love bargains :)

Thanks Elysia and Michelle, I've had a look at the s&s site and it asks for an invitation number to register, where would I get that from?
  • Evening all, not a bad day today. Not feeling too well (possibly all the late nights) but I am back up to £5 on viva. Been drifting around grabbit today looking for Christmas bargains, seems now is definitely a good time to be looking with the summer holidays almost over.

Well done on your bargains Elysia grabbit has been really good the last few weeks. Sounds like you are very organised michelle, well done.

Nicnax I would say s&s is definatitely worth the while. It takes us hardly nytime to scan and a few moments to load up and the points add up quickly. I joined them around march I think and have had around £80 in vouchers. You also get surveys for extra points depending on what you have bought which really boosted my total.

Nicnax - You get given a number when you are asked to join. You can register your interest by filling in a form on that site OR if you're a member of Survey He@d most of us got asked to join by filling in a survey on there. ;)
