BunBun - A company called Bare Internatonal who are a Mystery Shopping company have a lot of Pandora jobs. Once registered you select jobs to apply for so they are not always hassling you. If they assign you the job it is a quick visit to the named store and you need to go through a bit of a scenario about wanting an item. Then you say you need to think about it and choose a cheaper item to buy. They reimburse you up to 53 Euros so it is about £47 worth of goods although there is no other payment. The form is easy to fill in and they just need a photograph of the receipt.

What is everyone selling on Ebay? I have put someclothes on some still new and they have not sold even though some are new with tags and the start price is 99p :(

Karonher - thanks for the info - I'm with RE, but there must be a newbie close, and keeps nicking all the jobs. I'll register with them instead :)

I find clothes with tags don't do as well as people expect them to go high at the end, so no-one bothers bidding at all. :( If I list as worn once, it's surprising how high things go, which is really odd. *Shrugs shoulders* I've got lots to put on, but can't be bothered. Kick up the bum required here please. :D

  • When I was at uni I survived for a term by selling my stuff on ebay! (well there were a few £5 food shop weeks for me and OH but still..we managed) I had quite alot of clothes that sold, jeans usually sell quite well, tops from shops like oasis, topshop etc but it was usually the more going out style tops that did better. I was also going through a kinder egg phase and at that time they had smart car models inside which I could sell for £5 each! Every single egg I got had a car in, it was brilliant haha so just goes to show check every random thing around your house!
Thats reminded me, I have a load of textbooks from uni (left four years ago lol) that I'm going to try selling when unis start up again in september/october.

PablosMummy - So I've heard, Amazon are better for text books. I've not sold on there before, but apparently the listing doesn't run out, it can stay on there until it's sold. It might be worth having a look :)

Hi and welcome Pablosmummy :D Congratulations on the pregnancy, I'm 22 weeks pregnant with my second - due 27th December so I really want to get Christmas sorted in the next few months!

I've added a few hundred extra points on Maxi. I found there were a few mini surveys I hadn't done in my profile so spent 10 minutes on those and that has added on already. I need about 1000 more points still as it's slow going on there at the moment. I keep getting rejected from the surveys they send me.

I just popped on to McCains to do the games for this week, and my points had jumped up again  Over 700 extra points I think, I've no idea what's going on there. I redeemed again but I'm not too optimistic about getting anything as it just doesn't make sense to me!

Has anyone been to Drayton Manor? DH's family have suggested going on Bank Holiday Monday. Tickets are £32 per adult but they have a printable voucher on the site for 2 for 1 so it makes it much more affordable :money:. Also, DS would only be £5 which is better than most places. I just wondered if it was worth going if you're not going on all the big rides? We'd be mainly going for the kiddie things, DH might go on some rides with his brother but obviously I can't go on anything.

Claire - Happy Birthday to your little man, I hope he has a great day!

Kec - I hope you're okay today hun. Do pop in when you can so we know you're okay.

  • Happy Birthday to your little one Claire! Lots of us with little ones in their terrible two's aren't there.

Nicky I checked my mccains and have the amount i had before redeeming last time. No reason for it all I can think is that they couldn't send the voucher I wanted and refunded my shillings? Not received the last voucher I ordered so that would be my best guess.

I thought that might be it Savvy, but my points aren't the same as before I redeemed so I'm not sure what's going on. I only redeemed a couple of weeks ago and it says it can take a month to send out the vouchers, I'll just ahve to wait a few more weeks to see if anything turns up :)

Nicky - Drayton Manor is just up the road from me. DS will love it - Thomas Land is there and he'll love it. There are big rides, but not loads, and there's lots of thing you can go on with DS. I loved the 4D film happy feet they show. There are some animals too - it used to be a big zoo, but there's not many now. Like I say, DS will have a fab time, but there's stuff for the adults too - not like Gullivers where it is ALL kiddies.

Thanks for saying about McCains - I'm off to have a look :) ETA: I had about 180 when I last went on (Monday last week) and now I have 500, so half way again. :) I must have redeemed about three weeks ago, so mine should be any day.

Claire - happy birthday to your DS

Kec - sorry to hear about the problems you're having. As others have said, try the Samaritans, they are really good and can listen to you for as long as you need x

Viva has been playing up for me too on the Pop surveys - glad it's not just me.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend x
