That's what happened to me too. Wow. You've done really well on there. :D When you redeem for £10, they charge a 20p fee so you'll get £9.80 in a couple of weeks via paypal, so make sure your paypal email is filled in. ;)

Thanks hun, do you have to redeem at every £10 or can you let it pile up, cause I can guarantee if I leave it in the paypal the hubs will end up spending it.

You can let it mount up if you wanted - but to be on the safe side, I redeem. A few companies have gone bust, and people have lost hundreds of £1's.

If you want to save it separately - either use an old bank account or set up a new one (go via quidco and you may get some cash back) and withdraw from paypal and have to money go into that account. That's what I do. :)

  • You can only redeem £10 at a time hun, tried it before but sadly it wouldn't allow more than that in one go.

    Evening all

I couldnt get any more off of Viva today so far. I spent the afternoon doing some sewing (for a change lol). I made myself two tops, the fabric only cost me £4 each one. I havent quite finished them off, I want to sew some beading around the front necks tonight while wathcing tv then I can put some photos on my blog tomorrow. I reckon the tops would have cost about £18 each or more (I used a M & S one as a pattern) so I have saved myself £32.

I would love to see them Rufus. Well done. :)

I managed another £2 on viva - so £4 today. I redeemed and it'll be paid 8th Sept. I have quite a few payments pending, so I've got a good head start on next month :D

    How did everyone else do?

  • Sorry, I didn't mean for my last message to come over so blunt, I have been on the go all day. I tried before because I wanted to avoid the 20p paypal fee but it didn't work. Always worth claiming as soon as you can as you never know when a site may cease to pay out.

Had a bit of a result on my insurance, after speaking to them and bartering it's now much cheaper than the quote I had before thank goodness! Also the car has been vacuumed.

I know I should be money making but I fancy a bit of money spending now lol the grabbit board is becoming a bit of an addiction ;)

Elysia - Hope your feeling a bit better hun, it's all these late nights you're having make sure you are looking after yourself too. :)

Stepmum - Well done for having a sort out, shame about the kiddies finding the toys though. Dd did this last year and found a walking talking Jess the cat, she lit up and I couldn't refuse her it, it was the same face she would have had on Christmas day so I let that one slip. Do you have other hiding places? I have things dotted all over the house and keep forgetting we bought them :rotfl:

Nicnax - Sounds like you have settled in quickly hun your doing well with the money making already, how are you findng it?

Rufus - Thanks for the photo tips sounds like you had some great offers there. We have lots of photo's we haven't printed yet.

    Part of the Furniture
I managed to get some on viva earlier after seeing the tip and hit £10, but need to go back now for the new ones. I've been too busy playing bingo, rating and hiding my app food order that came. Mental how full my pantry is again, and I had been running it down too, but oh well.

I have some good places to hide stuff from our kids. My fitted wardrobes are good for smaller things, but anything bigger goes either in the loft or into the garage. We hid a whole climbing frame including the 6ft slide last year, and the year before it was their toy kitchen. I bet it gets harder as they get bigger though.
