Morning all
I had one on Viva this morning, I havent done a review yet today, I might try this afternoon. The computer I am on (my one) keeps turning off, I was in the middle of a survey twice this morning when it shut off so I am going to see if I have got any surveys later on when I can get on OH's lap top. I have asked him if I could have a new computer for Xmas so finges corssed. It is a bit dear but he gets a big bonus at Xmas, plus he usually buys me lots of little things that add up, so I told him just to get the computer instead, I would be happy with just that (who wouldnt lol)
Well done everyone else on the reviews and surveys xx0 -
Yeah I dreamt about Touchpads Elysia and then was awake at 4.30am when the rain went mental here and I had to get up and close the windows! Then got into DS's bed as he had come in and was hogging my side! All I could then hear was rain and the gutters and dripping! ARGH!!! You would believe it but its now a lovely sunny day here! Off to check Viva now!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

hello all, im new to this site and thread , im very excited about this idea. Ive been looking around for bargains and as of today im awaiting £30 in vouchers from boots from my council for using cloth nappys, will use this when the 3 for 2 gifts come out. I also have a voucher for £5 off at boots when you spend over £20 from the new parents group , so i can use this with the 3 for 2 and the vouchers so i could get £35 of toys for nothing! Ive also just had a pay out in amazon vouchers for £25 which im currently deciding what to buy the boys this will be some chistmas pressies or maybe one larger shared gift. Thankfully my 3 sons are way too young to want high priced games! im also a crocheter/knitter so ive made some items as gifts, my middle son has a beautiful crochet blanket this year as he was ratehr upset his big brother got one last year and he didnt..bonus was it didnt cost anything as i used tiny scraps of wool from left over projects. So ive got a few bits already..hoping to do the whole year for £100 with the vouchers or try ro be as neautral as possible.. ooh just had a wardrobe clear out and found a black sack of clothes that i whouldnt wear anymore so just need to prepare and sell those on ebay
looking forward to getting to know you allCompers challenge 27/70

Hi mummy2threeboys, welcome to the board, I'm fairly new on here myself. You sound like you're doing great with all the vouchers0

Hi and welcome Mummy2threeboys, it sounds like you've made a great start already
I managed 1 on Viva last night so I'm up to £8 there now. Fingers crossed I can redeem by the end of the month so it adds to the August total. Is anyone else finding the surveys there are taking a lot longer than they say? The one I did last night said 12 minutes but took nearly 20 even though I was concentrating on it and not being distracted!
I just nipped to the bottom of the garden, in between rain showers, to gt some more blackberries. The apple and blackberry loaf went down so well with DH that it was all gone in 2 days and he's begged me to make another
I've got the Dooyu bug again, at last! One of my product suggestions was finally approved so I put my review on and it's already had 36 rates. Another suggestion was accepted this morning so I'll get cracking with that. I won't make my target as I put it off for most of the month (:o) but every little helps.Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -
Welcome to the thread mummy2threeboys
Sounds like you are off to a good start.
I've been a bit naughty this week - bit stressed with uni work so finding it hard to get reviewing - have been keeping up with surveys as much as I can. Managed to put a claim into viva yesterday - am very happy with that so far.
Good luck everyone. Will try to do some reading on DY and Chow later on.Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
Welcome mummy2threeboys!
Sorry I've been abit awol recently. I haven't been sleeping that well either Elysia, stress gives me insomnia by the looks of things. Doing well with the review challenge, although a few of my latest ones have only been food related. I don't want to do all level 1 and 2 and then run out of things to review so breaking them up a bit. Think I'm on 23/28 now.
Sounds like everyone is getting lots from viva, well done!Making money for christmas 2012:santa2:0 -
What are you stressed about Chick? Anything we can help with?
Hello and welcome Mummy - You've made a great start. You'll be all done before you know it.The three for two on boots toys is already running if it helps. Over the bank holiday weekend, I've heard it's 10 points for every £1 spent too - so that's a bit extra saved if you see what I mean
Pink - You're still here and you haven't given up, that's the main thing. You have to do what's important, and Uni is far more important at the moment. Keep thinking about how much you've already saved. You're doing brilliantly juggling everything. Don't worry about our reviews, try and concentrate on other people who have rated you, that'll cut it down a bit.
Nicky - I forgot to bookmark that loaf recipe, so I've got to go back and find it.Well done on the reviews. It's quite addictive when you get into it, isn't it? I would never have thought five weeks ago, I'd have written 25 brand new reviews, and updated another 5 or so. It was a long shot me aiming for 15 so I'm chuffed.
Nicnax - how did you do today? Did you get any more off viva? They tend to put new ones on after 5pm, so it's worth checking again, if you did some earlier.
Savvy - six this month !!! I'm averaging a redeem every two or three weeks which I'm pleased about. I'm up to £8.10, so I'm hoping I'll be lucky and redeem again this week.
Legend - I hope the rain dried up and the sun came out. Any luck yet? I've given up. I'll wait until the hype dies down and get one cheap on ebay.
Well I managed to upset someone on doU/chow. I wrote the review on the new review list before she did. It's happened to me several times, so it's nothing new, She wasn't too happy though.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
