Hi Nicnax - I have been using the photo sites lately. It was costing me too much to buy ink for my printer and do them myself. I got some printed out a month or so ago from one of them, cant think for a minute which on it was but the offer was for 100 prints for new customer. I had to pay something like £2.50 in postage (it was photobox, its just come to me lol). The prints are really good quality and they came within a few days. I did a photo album for my brother's 60th birthday.

I have done some more over the last few weeks, I have got another 100 prints from Artscow, they cost about £3.50 for pp, I think, might have been less than that, they charge you in dollars and you pay by paypal. They came within a few days. Then I got 50 from Bonus print (their software on the site is terrible though and took hours to sort out my photos), I have yet to receive them, I paid about £2 or less in pp. Then I ordered another 60 from Trupint, they cost about £1.50 for pp, they came yesterday which again was only a few days and are nice prints too. All of them let me pay by Paypal except for Bonusprint which was Visa.

Thanks for that hun I'll have a look into them :)
  • Morning guys. Raining here too today, but we haven't got any plans other than waiting in this afternoon for my approved food order and making some pizza dough for tea. Good job as I feel quite tired today. Physically tired and achey too after throwing my friends little one around on the trampoline yesterday.

I'm going to make sure I am doing some rating and try to write some new stuff today, but then I also need to finish knitting a baby blanket, and not let the boys get too much out as I am enjoying the house being quite tidy for a change. It never lasts long enough. :o

thanks mummyto3boys for sharing your presents you got for the kids. They sound good value as well as fun. I struggle to know what to get my two if I'm honest, but they all sounded good.

The photo information was also helpful. I've only ever used Asda online service, and I was put off as a few of the photos the colours didn't turn out right, and they wouldn't just send out new ones of the faulty ones. it was about 6 out of near 400 pictures, and as I had already put all the rest in albums I was not going to get them all out again to send the whole lot back.
  • None of us won the short and sweet thing, but never mind. It is another one written I wouldn't have done really soon otherwise, and it got 70 x 3p for being rated. I'm happy enough.

Just caught up on all the surveys in my inbox and as well as points for some managed about £4 in cash so not bad. Sent all my mystery shop bits off, no clue how long they take to pay though. Going to list a load more on ebay this weekend so hope that will sell.

Very frustratingly I was sorting my christmas and birthday cupboard, in the process of having to move it all into another as two little people have found it and played with some of the gifts!! Anyway thought whilst doing it I thought I would move the most recent birthdays to the front. One of the gifts I have listed as having got and even what it is isn't there!!?? The children haven't had as I would have seen the huge mess. Not sure wether I have lost it or I decided what to get and then didn't. Very odd.

Welcome mummy2threeboys, hope you are finding everything you need to save and make lots of pennies!!
  • Hi everyone,

Not much on viva today, 30p from payout as well. Sounds like you have all been working hard at reviewing, well done hope the hard work pays off.

Just had my insurance quote in, £300 more expensive! I have no idea what they are playing at, it was about the same when I did a price comparison. I hate car insurance, it is such a headache  I was hoping it would be much cheaper this year, if the men hadn't have moaned about it.....

Well done on your bargains mummy, sounds like you did really well. Not much baragin wise from me except a free tin of celebrations from the grabbit board :) Might be worth a look as they sell cellophane rolls/sheets for 99p in different colours.

Weather is horrid here too, meant to be putting oil in the car and vacuuming it but I wont chance it in the drizzle, hubby said it would be fine but I don't fancy getting electrocuted lol. Did pick up my Tesco order though and they are definitely worth every penny.

Does anyone know of a better service to use than royal mail, sent an item today and was charged £2.50 more than I expected. I think someone mentioned a new service like collection plus or something (alot of shops use it for free returns)?
    Comping wishlist for 2017
    1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuff

Savvy - I've heard of collection plus but never used it, so I can't recommend it sadly. It would be great to hear if anyone else had though, I'm always a bit wary.

Michelle - I hope your aches and pains are better now. Sorry you didn't win the comp. Yours was really good. :)

Stepmum - LOL at your little ones finding the presents. That's always been my nightmare, but mine are up high, and even I can't reach them. I have to get OH or DD1 to get them down. :)

Nicnax - if you're after photobooks Hotprints are good. You can get five free a month and just pay p+p. If you wanted printed calenders, mugs and gifts, Vistaprint is good too. You are allowed four items per order free. You go through TCB or quicdo and get Cashback too.

Mummy - you did very well. :) No wonder your getting organised early. Congrats on your baby - I hope he arrives soon. Please post some pics when he arrives. :) I'll be thinking of you. ;) I hope the belly casting goes well. I had my DD's hands done when DD2 was a few weeks old, DD1 was holding her hand, and it turned out beautifully.

Not having a good day today :( Achey all over, and back hurts. Just muscular not proper backache, so I'm a bit down in the dumps. I've done a bit of rating here and there, but my dad came this morning, and I couldn't get rid of him. He's a pain in the backside sometimes - he's retired and so he gets bored and dumps himself on me. Oh well that's my moaning over. ;) How's everyone doing?

Thanks for that Elysia, I'll have a look at those. It was mainly just photos printed that I was after, I'm finding they're just piling up on the computer and not getting printed. Hope you're feeling better x

Thanks hun. If you've not checked Viva today - have a look. There was none for me yesterday evening, but I've just done two pop ones. Only one credited though, so I'm at £9.95 Grrr. I hope they have loads more later :)
