My 8 year old son has just discovered that santa is not real and that i buy all the presents. He has taken it so well and he even said i am the best mum in the whole world for buying and wrapping the presents and he thanked me for telling him the truth. He has his moments. I have always imagined that there would be tears when he found out. i have also told him not to spoil it for others who still believe but he has no brothers or sisters so wont worry much. I gave him some chocolate as a treat for being so understanding. Looks like my bill for this christmas will be smaller. Sorry to rumble. Anyway how is everyone doing with this months challenge.

Ahh bless how did he find out?? my daughters were about 13 when they found out, hoping i can get away with it for as long with my son too ;)

  • im kind of relieved that he found out by himself i always wondered what i would tell him when it was time. need to find out about this bingo stuff people keep talking about
  • Aww bless them my youngest is 18months and doesn't have a clue who Santa is really or what Christmas is all about, think I'm more nervous about getting our story straight than when the time comes to tell the truth lol

I remember when I was 7 or 8 my brother said Santa wasn't real, my mum was cleaning the loo at the time (as you do :p) and when I asked her she said that he was right. I didn't give it a second thought, think I was glad to be in on the truth :rotfl:

Done my bp this morning so I can redeem tomorrow, next redeem will be for Blake's fund, such a sad story I remember her nan telling us and we couldn't quite believe it, she has been so brave.

Been taking pics of stuff for Ebay and spent the last few hours listing - two items, taking forever to write a description that isn't copywrited.

Good news, within moments of listing one item it had a bid on it!! Really chuffed, one item has two bids and 18 watchers, all auctions running until Sunday and have made around £4 profit so far.

Hope those feeling poorly feel better soon, enjoy bp tonght girlies x

I was on there when it all happened. It is so sad, Shannon had posted up pics of him and everything then that happened. Its great how the site has done this charitable thing for her and her family.

Have done about 5 HOURS of toluna today and only at 37k. Its going to take me ages to reach the target. Anyone who is on there can you please vote etc, leave me a message so I can return the favour, thanks. I have done most on mine that I can see have them but if you have new ones let me know, its so time consuming to keep checking only to see there are no new ones yet.
    Thanks :D

5 hours - oh my goodness. I'll have a look for all your opinion things and add a bit for you.

Haha, my Dh was 13 when he found out Santa wasn't real. He told me he found out at school and ran home crying. I can decide if I find that cute or hilarious! My son is only 3 and TOTALLY believes in Santa :)

Vouchers - I tend to get Amazon or Love to shop. The Love to shop ones are useful as they can be used in so many different shops.
