Well this is my maiden voyage into moneysaving forums, and I have to say how wonderfully inspirational it is and I just can't wait to get started! I'm going to try and keep up with the challenges, and am really looking forward to starting to declutter via ebay.
Good luck to everyone!
Thanks

Hi coco - welcome to the thread hun - you've made an excellent choice in posting here first. You will find the thrifty gifty organised christmas thread so much help, too. Join in if you can - you will recognise most of the names off here, on there as well.
.
Get sorting out your clutter, find a sealed money box and open up a special account (if you haven't already) and you're halfway there.
Well done Mama-G - Those ebay listings are hard work! It drove e crazy yesterday I had trouble with my camera, and then ebay wouldn't let me add postage details - three times I tried listing the same thing - only to realise I had clicked free post, so obviously it wouldn't let me add a p+p charge! Oops.
I must remember to send this ipod first thing in the morning (need to package it up tonight). I love buy it now's.. I 've just looked and I've got six things left, and two withs bids on and the one has eight watchers. Finger crossed everybody.

Hi CoCo
Zangles - Think there is more chance of winning during the day, as less people playing, but pots are smaller.
Susan well done on your Blake redeem, I plan to do that next time I have 5000, have redeemed bingoport once this month so next is Blakes.

Hi and welcome Coco-Belle, you chose a great place for your first post!
Not done much in the way of money making today as I had to do lots of work. Although that did mean I had a no-spend day so there's a bright side to everything! Oh, I also ironed the tops I'm going to Ebay so that will help when I take a photo of them. I might get a chance to do that tonight, though it depends on what time the little one decides to go to sleep, he's been delaying bedtime recently as he's started to have nightmares.
Does anyone know when the Boots 75% off sale starts? Last year it was on a Wednesday. I work full time so I sent DH with a list, he did quite wellMaking money for Christmas 2012!0 -
My 8 year old son has just discovered that santa is not real and that i buy all the presents. He has taken it so well and he even said i am the best mum in the whole world for buying and wrapping the presents and he thanked me for telling him the truth. He has his moments. I have always imagined that there would be tears when he found out. i have also told him not to spoil it for others who still believe but he has no brothers or sisters so wont worry much. I gave him some chocolate as a treat for being so understanding. Looks like my bill for this christmas will be smaller. Sorry to rumble. Anyway how is everyone doing with this months challenge.0
