Just thought I would post regarding sealed pots/piggy banks. I was going to use an old jar to save spare cash in but chances are it will be dipped into and I noticed on grabbit that Hawkins Bazaar have terracotta piggy banks which have a little hammer to break open and comes in a wooden sty with shredded paper for the straw. It's in the sale for £2.50 and there is a free delivery code, you can also pay with paypal. This piggy sells for over £7 elsewhere.

I had to buy one as they are too cute and very practical, hope it helps someone x

Got back on Dooyoo this morning, did one review but other two items I was going to do were not in their catalogue so have sent off suggestions.

Found another £2 coin in my purse, cant remember how much is in the tin now but will let it mount up.

Edit to add that I have reached payout level on My Shopping Rewards, taken over a year to reach it but worth it in the end I suppose as will have a £20 cheque on the way. Says the next pay day is today so not sure if mine will get done today or next time as only just gone over the limit today. Still thats £30 already this month claimed so pleased with that, Rufus xx

Well done everyone - you're all doing fab.

Kiwi - so glad you friends MIL is Ok. That happend to me once - Mum lives local - I called around and knew she was in, I'd only spoken to her on the phone 5 minutes before. I rang the doorbell at least 15 times, no answer. I must say my mum's disabled - so panicked. Climbed over back garden fence and I could see her, OK. She has a plug in bell chime, and someone had turned the power off. Grrr.

With the wrapping paper at christmas, I always santas presents in different paper, but DD1 (19) saw it the once - but I got away with it by saying I have to send it up to him, and this bit was spare, so he sent it back, so I remembered this for DD2 and always show her the paper I'm sending to santa. She's amazed when they all come wrapped up in it. LOL

I've not have many surveys at all lately - considering I've joined so many sites this week. I did manage to list another item this morning though. When I get a new SD card - I'll do the rest. Even DD1 had a sort out, so I've more to list now. :)

    Enjoy your day everyone

Stressed - I think I sussed who you are, but I'll leave it to others to guess first.

  • Good morning ladies. Back at work today for me and not enjoying it at all!

Two of the books I listed on Amazon on Sunday have sold (whoop!) about £25 coming my way for that. A few of my ebay items have got bids on (min £17) so will just have to wait until Sunday to find out my earnings there.

Not sure how much is in my sealed pot, it'll be a very nice surprise later this year.

Going shopping after work tonight. OH and I have decided that we are going to spend a max of £30 pw on shopping. We are bloody awful at food shopping and could easily spend 100s per month on it. Terrible considering it's just the two of us (and his DS for 2 nights every 2 weeks!).

Glad your MIL is ok Kiwi, must have been a worry.

Need more coffee, getting up this morning was a killer!
Dribbling my way to £11k... so far £653.69/£11000
