Gosh, I'm trying hard to keep up with you all and read all the new posts! There's so many!! lol

Well, I have put some bits up on eBay this afternoon. They will start this evening, and finish Thursday evening. Each listing costing me 6p to have them start at a specific time (because the starting price is 99p or less its free listing :) )

Battery has died on the camera now, so need to charge it then can put some more up :) I have got tonnes of bit to put on so should reach the £50 target :)

And I have signed up to BingoPort too :T Not quite sure how it works at the moment, but sure it won't take long!

My 8 year old son has just discovered that santa is not real and that i buy all the presents. He has taken it so well and he even said i am the best mum in the whole world for buying and wrapping the presents and he thanked me for telling him the truth. He has his moments. I have always imagined that there would be tears when he found out. i have also told him not to spoil it for others who still believe but he has no brothers or sisters so wont worry much. I gave him some chocolate as a treat for being so understanding. Looks like my bill for this christmas will be smaller. Sorry to rumble. Anyway how is everyone doing with this months challenge.

Ah bless his heart, Miss Hoodie was having the is he/isn't he real, but she didn't want to take the conversation any further, think she was worried about not getting the presents...... xx

Just a flying hi... no money making yet, just organised day, sorted out birthday presents, so far spent £51 - but £21 of that was on a gold locket, - that and with what I had spare from last yr, have nealry all bday covereds, - just waiting for Boots 75% - get some xmas prezzies.

Just emptied the change tins so can start a fresh - got to mine slightly as Miss Hoodie has everything below £1, and we bank monthly, so keep a total in her book.

Got some stuff sorted for car - boot sales, desperately trying to persuade the school to have a table top sale!!! got to be somme perks being on the PTA.

Hopeing Toluna vouchers will come soon, waiting on love to shop - redemmed last batch for helping Santa out with Hello Kitty. xx

  • Hi Everyone.
Spent ages catching up!! So much to read and so little time!!

My daughter asked why i had the same wrapping paper as Santa when i was sorting the odd bits left out. Told her he wraps all the childrens in the same paper (which i do) so he knows whos is whos and leaves the rest for the mummys to use up next year. Dont know if she believed me or not really. She is only 5 and far to clever for her age!!

Had a real good push the last couple of days. Listed loads on ebay - 33 items - did them on BINs and already sold 5. £52 made after fees and the like so i can tick that one off the challenges!! Wonder if i can make that again by the end of the month. Hopefully, need the piles of stuff to go.

Got another little pile for a car boot in the spring, hopefully be able to find a car load full to make it worth it.

Put £3.16 in my little jar from my shopping savings ready for my Christmas account!

All in all a good organised first few days of 2011!!

    Txx

  • Good morning all :)

Well done Tracey on your Ebay items and for completing the challenge with plenty of time to spare.

Susie - I love your jewellery, it is very pretty and looks really expensive, well done you are very talented. Can I ask how you managed to get such amazing photos of your jewellery, as I have a few bits of jewellery I need to list on ebay but keep getting terrible pics because of the flash but fuzzy garainy pics without the flash lol.

Not much to report this morning but I did manage to redeem on bp :jand the trousers I put on this morning are weighed down with change so it will all go in the pot once I have sorted out my parking money. Have 7 items listed on ebay, all have bids or a resonable amount of watchers, one item is over £100 so if that sells I shall be very pleased and well on my way to Christmas 2011.
    Comping wishlist for 2017
    1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuff

My hubby has a pop up photo tent and a fancy macro lens otherwise my photos would have been rubbish, if you can try and get a light behind you and not use the flash, when i was using the flash it was draining all the colour :)

My earring are only 99p so I am hoping they will sell as there are lots on there :o

My dd is 3 on Thursday, im keeping it simple with Santa. Anything that is in the room not wrapped is from Santa. So no mistakes in the types of wrapping paper, anything in th stocking is from him. Santa only delivers to our house. :) Saves me tripping up on lies and hope she believes for longer :)

I did get nearly get caught out with the paper a few years ago. I think if he definately found out the truth he wouldn't be shocked!
