Hope your ex gets gout and conjunctivitis, esmer. I can't think of anything more painful and annoying that's ultimately not so harmful I'd feel bad wishing it on anyone :o

Good look at the hospital mary :)

    Great bargains, various bargain hunters!

My current news is very exciting. I booked our flights to visit the UK and when organising the rental car I needed DH's drivers licence. I couldn't find it, so when I came home I asked him for it ... and he couldn't find it either. We tore the flat apart looking for it and gradually he got this sheepish expression on his face and told me that the last time he saw it was when it was in his pocket next to the credit card that fell out of his pocket and got lost on the way back from Edinburgh  It's a NY licence and since he also needs to make a name change he needs to be there in person.

Once I'd finished yelling at him, we started looking at quick overnight and back flights so he could get it sorted, but they were all €2200  The cheapest one was under €500 but required a five-day stay minimum and I pointed out that the reward for monumental idiocy should not ever be a five-day baby-free holiday in my favourite city in the world and under the laws of creative accounting since the appropriate flight would be €2200 we could all three go (we don't pay for Wee Beastie because she's under 2) and see family while we're there. He wasn't too keen initially and I responded by telling him that the alternative was that I spent the five days decluttering the flat and getting rid of anything of his I didn't want here. So we're all going to NYC :rotfl: :D

My current project is making lists of things to do, visit, buy and organise.

Get them done by 5th of Feb or else :rotfl:

Mary - Sods law that you find the letter just as they cancel, I do hope they get the results in time for you to give to your doctor.

Anyone that I have missed, hope you are all doing well. I felt ill today after reading the court date letter, i do think its the thought of seeing him in a room, in such a closed space. :(

Well Court date is here for the child hearing. 24th Feb. I am so not looking forward to being in the same room as my EX :( He stops seeing her July last year, and blames me. I have the text evidence of him saying he didnt want to see her, and then he raises the court action. He also is apposing my legal aid, he will just do anything that hurts me. For someone that I loved with all my heart, I now hate! To top it all off I have to use my holidays for this as well! ^*(*^$)(^(*%*^(%*^)*^) that was me swearing :rotfl:

Good luck with it, I dare say there is some lovely men out there, but why oh why does the bad apples rock the boat. I've got my next hearing in may, not looking forward to it. We're all behind you xx

Happy Crafter - I use the business cards for inside ebay parcels, so if they opened theres an address there, a box lasts for ages but worth it.

Saveang - Welcome to the thread.

Sugarspun - Love it, I could just imagine you chucking everything out, the 5 day break sounds fab, even if it for a driving license.

    Mary -Glad lads better,

Went into school this morning to do some reading with the kids, my good deed done!! Then up for blood tests - what a farce 1st arm has 6 pin pricks, she couldn't find blood, the 2nd arm, attempt no 4 worked...... if I get a letter saying its contaminated I'll go and belly flop someone.

Had to help Miss Hoodie with her homework, her computer has windows 2007, unless you do a save as won't translate to word 2003, so I had to break it down and go via emails, 2 1/2hrs took me to sort out, so funny its about the Romans and she's wrote about them haveing a brothel where they can meet ladies on their day off........ dreading what the teacher will think.

Ok day. Got 1st tutorial for new course on Sat at Birmingham, not looking forward to the drive there, *dad cursing etc every other driver and how much he hates Birmingham, so 2mor when wrapped Febs prezzzies - start the new course!!

    Hope everyone ok xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
