Well since cleaner came and tidied up comp. room I can;'t find my scrapbook papers that came some weeks back :eek: Not her fault.........I know I put them in one of the comp. desk drawers..........I'm sure of it but are they there ?? No way..............think it might be a case of the more I look the less I see................so, try again tomorrow I think.
All I've done today is make couple of simple cards..........had great plans to do a fabric one for grandson but the lad we look after spend most of the night being sick and it kept us awake so been like a zombie this morning.
Oh I did manage to make a funny little notelet for a friend who's having a bad time at minute...........written to her and its ready to post.
So, not a wasted morning.:)

Hope your lad better now, theres just bugs galore going around again, hope you mind me saying but despite the lack of sleep, we've got the old Mary back. The notelet for your friend sounds lovely.

Not been 2 of the last few days, a lady in our street passed away, they've lived there since before I was born, thats nearly 40 yrs, and our neighbour opposiate, the lady, she lost her nephew Saturday morning, him and his brother are both have conditions that have left them in wheelchairs, there super lads, the eldest got rushed in midweek to hospital with pneumonia and swine flu,wasn't eating he had a feeding tube, Friday they said he was stable, but his heart gave way.

Please if there is anyone on the thread that fits the category for swine flu, pneumoina, flu jab, please please get checked out and have it.

Im painting one wall the plum, the other three are a nice cotton white, which don't need re-done. Just need to get a nice plum rug for the floor. I cant wait to see it all finished. I took the Tv off the wall, so need to fill in those holes and get a sample pot of paint and touch it up.

Thanks mum2one, I really cant wait until its all finished. I got one of thos diffusers in a berry flavour and its lovely, really can smell it. Might go back to wilcos and buy more........

Well Court date is here for the child hearing. 24th Feb. I am so not looking forward to being in the same room as my EX He stops seeing her July last year, and blames me. I have the text evidence of him saying he didnt want to see her, and then he raises the court action. He also is apposing my legal aid, he will just do anything that hurts me. For someone that I loved with all my heart, I now hate! To top it all off I have to use my holidays for this as well! ^*(*^$)(^(*%*^(%*^)*^) that was me swearing :rotfl:

Right, I've had my month off from making things!! I need to make some sort of gift envelope for theatre tickets for hubbys birthday this weekend. I also want to look through my jewellery making stuff and get some more bracelets planned. I'm also determined to get out the cross stich birth sampler and FINISH it! lol

All my plans to sort rooms and things this weekend went out the window!! Can't really sort DD's bedroom easily now this week or this weekend (too much on), but I can give our bedroom a good going over this Saturday as hubby's out. Yeay. Evening to myself!! lol Will also do that kitchen cupboard Saturday evening too me thinks.

I went to the range on friday, really should not have gone those craft shelves are sooo tempting

I was good though and didnt buy anything from them but I did get some Christmas stickers reduced down to 50p and inspiration on a leaving present for a work friend so I will be back there but with a shopping list!!

Feeling really quite poorly today - coldy/fluey so giving myself the day off to rest. I work from home so easy to make that decision. Caught up on some polls etc and going to get all my sewing/knitting things out to see what I can make everyone as gifts this year. I don't have to move too far from the sofa to do that. I'll make a list of all the challenges I've signed up so they all get done when I'm feeling a bit better.

After being a long time lurker and reading this thread for the best part of last year and now this year im finally going to join!
Im currently a SAHM to a 9 month old, was made redundant just before xmas and have no plans to get a new job for the foreseable future which I am sooo happy about!
But it means pennies will be tight on just my DHs wages and my redundancy money.
I will start the challenges etc properly but just wanted to do a quick introduction.

I have a quick thing to mention that I have havent seen anyone talk about on here before, If you are with virgin media you are entitled to x amount of free photo prints a month through your account, the amount depends on the package you have. We used this a great deal last year and was fab for 'free' photos for pressies for xmas and to make albums up for grandparents etc.

Well, thankfully our lads recovered from the sickness bug he had.
I tossed and turned all night......not good for my back....so ache like mad today like a steam rollers run over me :eek: Still, not a bad day yesterday so can't complain too much.
Still can't find scrapbook papers I bought..........I'll have to get cleaner to empty out comp. drawers and have a proper look.......I just know they're hiding in there somewhere !
Now I can't find letter for bone scan appt. tomorrow:eek: Got all the other bits of paper they sent with it.............honest ....what happened to my brain..................lol:rotfl: We've that much hospital related stuff but I found a neat folder this morning under comp. desk............nice one, sections inside and all zips up............perfect ! Just shows when you're not looking for something it just sort of turns up.......................lol
Be one of ''those weeks'' this week I think when not much gets done what with bone scan tomorrow, chirpodist Wednesday, cleaner Thursday.........can't seem to find a 'slot' for me and my paper and glue.................lol:rotfl:
