Now I think cup of tea and then crack on with some jobs around the house while it's quiet.0 -
Miss Hoodie cooked flapjacks at school, they were absolutely gorgeous, but brought on another anaphylaxis shock, luckly we got it under control - think was 1 step away from jabbing....... so now got to ask the cook what the ingredients were.
Oh no!! lol At least it should be a simpler list of ingredients to check through!
Well, I was at home with DD all day - child minder's couldn't have her due to a family emergency. But used the opportunity to clear and sort that cupboard in the kitchen! Yeay, one less thing to do this Saturday!!
Got a funny mood on now though. Been a long day me thinks and want to just curl up under the duvet. Hope you all have a nice evening!

thank you! will try that. I noticed they have reduced their postage:j
legend how is your ds now?
i don't mean to panic you, hopefully its a postage offer, but just check that you haven't signed up for the Vistaprint service, think its about £10 or £15 a month, that gives you vouchers and cheaper postage, if you have cancel before 30 days and you don't have to pay anything.
Massive apologies if I have panicked you, but you know me I'm an old fusspot, and wheres money concerned would rather air on the side of caution. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Got to say we had a very mse evening, took Miss Hoodie to see Chinese State Circus (bogof ticket, saved £27), it was absolutely amazing, she was gob smacked for 2 hrs, didn't hear a peep from her, then dad come ane picked us up, and we went for an indian (got free meal for 2), bless them at the Indian, they extended the free meal to the of us (considering we had popadoms, starters, 3 x mains, 2 x namm, rice and chips), they just charged us for the drinks. I offered to pay for the 3rd meal, the boss wouldn't have it. I didn't complain.
Thou half way throu the meal - emergency loo stop - Miss Hoodie - second week running shes had beef curry for lunch at school, been poorly - shes in bed with me, got the little notebook with me pig torch....

Morning everyone
Been Awol for a few days staying with my Dad. Took my quilt with me to get some done but was busy doing some decorating for him during the day time and in the evenings I was too tired to think about sewing. I did manage a bit last night and its coming on well, not really that much more to do on it may be another weeks worth of quilting.
Need to ask my eldest daughter if she can pop one of Grandson's hoodys round so I can make a pattern from it for his new one.
Might get a Vista order in today if I have time, need to get up the town before half 12 to get a parcel from post office but waiting for OH to get up first.
Catch you all later on, Rufus xx0 -
its my dads birthday at the end of this monh so ive cross stitched him a picture of a tractor i was going to make it into a card but i picked up a lovely pack of three frames from morrys reduced to £1.48 so im going to frame it up as a picture/card going to make him a cake to go with it.
framed hd valentine hearts card/piccy that i cross stitched for him, will probally just have a meal at home as valentines day ive got a hospital appt and its the first day of the building work, trying to strip and store two bed rooms and the hall stairs and landing by then so dont think ill be getting much done while all that is ongoing.

Hello all :j
There I was yesterday happily googling for knitting pattern for wrist warmers and internet connection went:eek: Panic or what:eek:
Tried it again this morning and still nothing so I was real fed up...............then cleaner arrived with a younger brain and she pressed re-start on the router and it worked:T Yippee !! Get the feeling I ought to do what I have to do, order what I want to just in case it goes off again.
Had a good morning sorting out stuff in our bedroom. Cleaner did the floor, sorted out washing, put stuff away so now washing is on the go and everywhere's tidy:)
Next week I'll get her to attack the spare bedroom that has all my 'stash' in it.............had a quick look this morning:eek: Nightmare it is................
Can't wait now to get it sorted out
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Evening all
Wee Beastie had her first day at her trial daycare centre today, I'm a bit unsure about it for a few reasons but it was insanely cute to see her with her tiny backpack. I'm going to need a Big Think about whether or not to send her again but I'm leaning towards no. It was good to sit across the street in a cafe and work in peace though, I got most of an assignment done, which was great and means that I can submit it while we're in NYC and not fall behind.
And this afternoon after her Very Long Nap DH took her out to return our loaner pushchair and get our new lovely one (oooh it is lovely and new) and I lined her winter coat with an extra layer of fleece. Very :money:, the fleece was Ikea's €1.79 blue one that was leftover from when I made nappy liners with it, and I still have about a third of it left. And she'll be toasty warm.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
