  • Hi all....Sorry not been about the last few days.....MIL (who has been fighting cancer for last 6 years) got taken into hospital just over a week ago with flu/bad breathing....ended up having to have lung drained and was very poorly. At Xmas DH said he didnt think she had long left. Anyway yesterday she was moved to our local hospice. They have given her about 3 weeks if that so all in all its not a good time in our house. DH is dealing with it really well....its me who as usual is falling to pieces but trying not to in front of him DD is taking it really bad. There are family probs in their family aswell which doesnt make it any easier!! So for the mo....I am giving up on being organised for anything as the family will be relying on me to organise other things (thats my job in the family....The Organiser!!!. Thats me for now. Hope everyone else is ok and if not hugs from me 2 u.

    Much love

    Lisi xxx

Thinking of you Lisi, I hope you dont get too stressed with it all. And being organised for xmas is not the be all that ends all, family comes first, being organised is just a bonus.

I went to boots today, and I got some stuff, so I will write it in my book when I get home as to who is getting what. I spent just under 30.00 and saved 86.00 I got a lovely photo frame from boots for motherday, and a nice pen set for my dad for fathers day. I dont have many to buy for and will leave the rest of the shopping. I will have a faire few Amazon vouchers to spend if I keep up with the bingoport. GOt 10.00 already, and half way to another redeem. I also found a 10.00 Argos voucher too, which I forgot I had :) Dd needs a new toy box, the one she has it tiny, so I find that I have lots of little boxes ad I want one big one.

    Thats me for today..........

Hope all is well with everyone.

Remember Valentines and Mothersday are next on the list. Could you make some stuff for gifts for those events and sell on ebay? someone was doing scrolls a few years ago on ebay for mothersday, I think there is a market there for stuff, and im sure with your talents you could make something.

I was thinking those cuddle mug thingys :) in red for valentines, pink for mothersday, and fill them for chocolates and wrapped in Cello. Just an idea.

Awww, thank you esmer. My problem is finding somewhere to sell homemade stuff - I'm keeping my eyes peeled but there's not many opportunities near us at the moment. Those cuddle mugs are LOVELY though!

    mary - keep laughing!! :D

rufus - well done on finishing your papering.

mummyslittleboy - glad you're home!!! Hugs to you!

Lisi - oh no, that's bad news. Hugs to you too. Thinking of you.

    Hello all :j
mummys littleboy - I've got occ.therapy coming next Tuesday to assess me for aids round the house.........loo seat stair rails and stuff like that. They're coming to the house so they can see the layout of it and what I need to do things (not that I can do much at the minute)

susan - I'm managing........sort of...........hobble from one room to the other and back again...sit in one position then another to try not to stiffen up.
Am desparate for a comfy chair for the lounge but can't even get out to have a look at any.....not that there are any in town anyway apart from two overlarge recliners and one thats too small (OH tried it out). So, padded cushions it is in the meantime.

clare - I'm trying to keep smiling..........:) not easy today as I'm suffering a lot of pain. Still, not to fret.........I can paint a smile on if need be...........lol
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all I have just put through an order on the above following an email. The email offered a range of FREE things but I order a TShirt Bag, and small banner as my oh is 40th soon. The order came to £18 odd with postage VAT and some amendment to a free item orginal price around £56. The order it says is now being processed but I have just read in the orginal email that the offer expired on the 18th. So my dilemma is do you thing they will honor the price at the check out ie £18 odd or will they charge me the full price. If you think it is the latter I would be tempted to email them and cancel the order. I m sure the will have other offers on throughout the year. Any advice welcome
