Hiya Jena - this is the sister thread, so you are very welcome to join in. This is where we post all our bargains etc, and good deals, so we can all get them. :D

Mum2one runs this thread - she'll be passing through in a bit I expect. That's if she's ok. I haven't caught up on the posts for a few days.

Mary - as I was scrolling down, I saw what's happened. Sending big (but careful) hugs. I hope you are OK. Now we know why your back has been hurting so much of late. I hope they can get you pain free very soon.

I once woke up, and was unable to walk (a long time ago - I was 3 at the time), It took a week for feeling to come back into my legs - I had a water infection! It's one of things I remember like yesterday - It was so odd.

I just came on to say Debenhams have Pictureke flipper game (the one with the penguin) for £7.50 instead of £25. John Lewis have some toys reduced too (if there's not one local, p+p is only £3 which is good if you're buying a few things). I bought a Molly Milkshake maker for £4.95 halfprice and a Snocone (like a slush puppy) maker for £3.95. That's my niece sorted for her birthday (in October!). :D

Mary - sorry to hear about you back, hope something can be done to ease the pain.

I went to my local charity shop yesterday and picked up 2 brand new not opened boxes of ELC splash play mats for 99p each, in store ELC for £8. You can get some real bargains if you keep yours open.

    Morning girls.

I am very impressed with moo (my goddaughters big sister who i look after and have seen most days since she was born , shes 3 now) she didn't go to bed till 11:30 so excited to be having a sleep over with me. she fell asleep the minute her head hit the pillow and briefly woke at 7:45 to get in to bed with me then slept in till10:10 , then when she woke she just chilled out with me .. such a good girl!

I am also looking after baby ronnie over night again , which is a bit more money in my pocket:)

    Hope your all well
    xx

It usually on a Wednesday so if they have one, it could be next Wednesday, but last year due to the snow it was a week late at about the 20th or something.

Apparantly they are starting to reduce bits and pieces here and there instead this year as there isn't much left. The toys are already 75% off. Yo0u have to keep popping in and seeing what's going at the time. ;)

    Morning all

Mary - thinking of you xx

We went out to a birthday do last night. Had to go by train so OH could have a drink, was two short train journeys. Got to the place where it was supposed to be (a working mans club) and it was all dark and the gates were padlocked. We walked round for ages trying to find another way in, inthe end rang the bloke whos do it was, he said someothers were on their way so wait for them and they would show us. When they got there they were amazed ot see it locked up too so rang the clubs secretary or whoever and they said it dont open till 8, was only quarter to 7 then and we had been waiting out side already since half 6. They came down and opened it up early for us to go in. Then coming home we got the last train from the place which came on time but when we got off to wait for the next train home found that the connections done wait for each other and it had just gone, there was another one coming but it was nearly an hour to wait. Must say I wasnt too impressed with OH who was supposed to have checked the train times but hadnt bothered with this one just the other one. It was freezing cold and no rooms open, by the time we got home I was so cold I couldnt get warmed up until about 4 this morning. Hence feel like S**T today.

Wont get any sewing done for a few days as OH's Mum is coming in a bit to stay for a few days and we are off to see my Dad tomorrow.

Hope everyone else is well, Rufus xx
