Just remembered - if anyone wants to join weight watchers (Oh that'll be me) if you join online (ie not go to class) you pay £29.85 at the moment half price, but what's great is that you get £30 cash back. So they pay you 15p to join, what better incentive is that? You may even lose a bit of weight - no point just signing up for the 15p. hehe.

I fancied going to classes as I need a bit more persuasion and get them when someone else is weighing me.

    Hello all!!!

Reserved 2 meccano red arrow sets from Argos to pick up tomorrow. They are £14.99 down to £4.99 so quite a bargain and a great present.

    Thanks! I've reserved one for cousin's son's birthday :)

I am at slimming world too :)

I have decided to make my close friend and colleague a 21 thing hamper for her birthday (she will be 21) And on the all the things ill right on the tag saying about why its to do with her the hamper will be titled

21 things that make amber , Amber :)

So far A shower princess set which is a funky shower cap and some nice shower gel reduced to 1.99

Will buy her her favorite chocolate Milka
some sure deoderant (her favorite again)
    some dorito's (her favorite crisps)
some socks (she likes socks lol)
some rose wine (he favorite wine)
imperial leather foam burst(her favorite shower gel)

Then I am totally clueless what else to add. She is a party animal :) hence the wine munchies shower stuff.

I have 2 weeks to get everything and about 2 weeks 3 days to have it fully made and wrapped!

I am going to have to budget a bit as well. x

Managed to get another bag of rubbish for my room and more washing for the washing basket (im slowely sneaking it in the washing basket so my dad dont lecture me lol) x

So do they allow you marmalade on WW? I am officially with Slimming World at the moment, but my prepayment thing ends next week, or mayb the week after. Is the WW cashback automatic?

Just done some more shopping - one of the posts on the Grabbit board gives a code for getting £30 off your first order at Elvi - mainly women's clothes size 16+ but a fair few accessories (shoes, scarves, jewellery and bags)

EDIT - oh, and I've also had a confirmation e-mail from Tesco telling me that the "glitch" I took advantage of last week, was indeed successful, so I've also got a £14.99 Gordon Ramsay Christmas cookery book for free.
    So I've bought a plain black t shirt, a necklace and a bangle - original cost £58 - after sale and £30 off - Cost = £6. P&P is £4.95 on top so that's £10.95 in total for 2 presents and a decent black t-shirt

    Good Morning everybody.

Welcome to the thread dragonlilly. its real nice place this and everybody is so helpful and friendly.

DD slept til 430am :) and she is on the mend, no fever last night. Im sure all of this stems from her back teeth breaking through. she has felt EVERY tooth and had these symptoms with all of them :( These are the last of them.

Hope you are all well, im hitting the shops today :) I will get my dressing gown and see if there is anything else that might suit birthdays and hampers for xmas.

Thats absolutely brilliant news about DD, blame it on the time of the night, - but thought u were going shopping in ur dressing gown!

Wow Georgie - I thought they wouldn't honour it, so I didn't bother with that one. I had loads of DVD's cancelled from a glitch just before Christmas. Booo Tesco - I would have liked that one.

Well done on your bargains Georgie - I may have to go and look, but I'm a bit skint at the moment.

What you do for the weightwatchers offer is. It's already half price, but if you go through Quidco (do you use it? You should you know, you'll save £100's a year). Anyway, you go through quicdo (type in weightwatchers and it will come up). Click on the link and pay as normal, and then a month later quidco give you £30 cash back. It's easy I've done it twice before.

I'm like Poohpals though. I NEED the strictness of being weighed by someone. The more firm the better - I want to be told off if I put on, not to be told, 'it's ok, it'll come off next week'. I NEED to go to boot camp!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

If anyone knows about dieting it's me. I've joined all the diet clubs going - I can lose the weight but it's keeping it off. I've lost six stone, three times, and it's nothing to brag about - I'm ashamed! :( This year WILL do it!!!

Its the leapad leapfrog I think its called. I gave her it back, to take to the shop. She is going to get her a polly pocket house.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/LeapFrog-30004-LeapPad/dp/B00003GPTI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1293642357&sr=8-1

Thats good that she can take it back, had a peep at link thats an old system, Miss Hoodie had it when she was 3, remember it was a half price special at Woolworths, and we got books but they were £10 a book, I sold her set for £10. There one of those that by when you set it up only took 2 mins - Miss Hoodie use to get bored and just re-read the one word, so on the bright side you had a very lucky escape.

but the polly pocket house be more suitable for her. xx
