Hope everyone ok, so so here, were back in court again on Monday, his lordship is trying to pull every dirty trick possible, but doesn't know it yet, but fallen flat on one point, compaining that Miss Hoodie has got such a wonderful relationship with his parents, and his brother, - mmmmmmm. shes only met them twice, last time it nearly ended up in a punch up, (that was me!!), and since then we have told them its too problematic, and they've caused so many probs, its upsetting Miss Hoodie, and i can't have that, so there out of the equation, I would crack open a bottle of champage, but I'd rather a pint of cider!!

So now having to rejig some of the presents that we had brought for them, theres some personal items from Vistaprint, there be binned, at least they were freebies only paid postage. At a quick glance, I'm just stuck with 3 world war 2 books, as I'd brought a set for her adopted grandad as well, the normal prezzies can split up and around.

    xx

Hope it goes OK on Monday Mum2one. How long do you think this will all go on for? Seems like its been years already. Miss Hoodie will be left school and doing her own thing at the rate its going at the moment lol. My ED is still having problems with her two boys' Dad. He still wont see the younger of the two boys, still insisting he aint his although he only come up with this thing over the last two years and the boy is nearly 11. Wants to see the older one but on his terms and that means just when it suits him which turns out about once a year. The eldest one is playing up again this last two weeks, his Dad has been contacting him on the computer again and then he gets all mixed up and creates problems at home where his behaviour gets out of control. Ends up saying he wants to go and live with his Dad and ED doesnt know what to say to him as his Dad wont look after him properly, he will get right out of control.

    Hello all :j

mum2one - good luck for Monday -I don't know how you cope with it all and still manage to ''do
christmas'' like you do :T Power to you !!

I've done nothing today except keep painting chap filled with coffee and stick a few pictures back on the walls............all done now except the floor and that should be next Wednesday so I've got a few days to maybe get ''christmas'' sorted............need to get glue and paper out, cover boxes, gravy tubs, fill them up etc. and get the 'family' cards done.
If I get that done I'll pay myself on the back (cos secretly I think its hardly likely............lol)

    Hope you're all ok:)

Thats unbelievable, some men just take the biscuit, be a yr next month since he started the court proceedings, as he's digging his feet in, the solicitor reckons we could have a least another yr of it.

Were off to see Dolphin Tale 2mor, then making batch 2 of the christmas cakes, and then dads taking her to a organised bonfire party, given him £20.. (should be the other way round:cool:), as its £7 entry for the both of them, and theres attractions and fun fair, I prefer organised events, as you'd end up spending £60+ to get fireworks, this way safer, take her mind off it all. xx

I had email from Artscow, they are doing three of their photo gifts (certain selection) three for $15 (works out at £9.65) and its free posting too. I just ordered a watch for YD with her photo on it, a pack of playing cards for youngest GS with his photo on the backs and a photo jigsaw for GD with her and her brothers on it. I have had things from there before and they are a nice quality, havent had the watch before but for £3 something cant complain for a stocking filler. The code is THREEFOR15 if anyone else wants a look. The link to the web page with the things on is http://www.artscow.com/photo-gifts/three-for-fifteen

Forgot to add they come from Hong Kong so hope they get here in time for Christmas from there. I reckon they should do, most of their other stuff comes within two weeks of ordering but I wouldnt hang about. The code works until the 25th of this month.

    Hello all :j

I made a start -covered three shoe boxes.............lol (yet to cover any gravy tubs though) Seemed to take me an age and made my back ache.........glad to finish and thankful I only needed three. One for son, one for his girlfriend and one for her birthday at Christmas. Anything else for anyone will go in a bag. Found four of the 'everlasting' shopping bags when we cleared the kitchen out so think anyone who's having kitchen stuff will have it presented in a bag.
Been having texts on and off all day from my friend in hospital -she's sitting up now and feeling brighter than she was thank goodness.

OH now wants new set of saucepans and looking at the kitchen curtains, well they just don't 'go' now the new kitchens in:( So, think that'll be our christmas treat to each other...............lol

    Hope you're all ok:)

I wrapped my Christmas gifts today :D

Still have the Beastling's Happyland cottage to build, plus one gift that's lost in a moving box somewhere to wrap (although I can sub something else and give that next year) but other than that and a Secret Santa gift I don't yet have a recipient for the wrapping is done!

I didn't go out today, the Husbeast is home from the hospital so while he was out I asked him to get me some brown paper for wrapping parcels to post. He comes home with 10m of beautiful wrapping paper and no brown paper *rolls eyes*

Need to post my nephew's birthday gift this week, also finishing the wrapping, buying and wrapping the Secret Santa gift, writing nice letters to my DH's aunt and a card for his cousin, figuring out what's happening with my kitchen and organising my Boxing Day party brunch. It's getting so close *gleeful chair-dancing*
