    Hello all :j
Kitchen cupboards now filled -just have to remember whats in which cupboard............lol
Hopefully builder is coming next week to knock down pantry so the whole room can be decorated and finished (she says hopefully)
So managed to forage through 'unwanted' stuff.........decorative chopping boards, mugs I can put some sachets of hot chocolate in, storage jars filled with cookies/chocolates, couple of santa tea towels I never used and think we're beyong the ''santa'' age now...............lol I should be able to make up half way decent 'kitchen' baskets for a few people if I put in a kitchen kebab as well (skewer with scourers on).
Need new tea towels myself -note to put on christmas list for me..........as well as cannisters for tea/coffee etc. Old ones look hideous.

So, maybe I'll start getting the 'festive' stuff organised now...............:T

Hope you're all ok and keeping warm:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

hi everyone - i`m back, just popped in to show my face after escaping from hospital...lol

sorry mary - i had an heart operation and they were fantastic. Best hospital i ever been in. NHS as well.

Mum2one - dont know why you feel guilty about miss hoodies pressie, she had what she wanted and it cost less, but if you had to pay the full price it would have been too much.

rufus - how you doing with OH being away? Hope everything ok.

alja - i dont have a budget. I try not to think of cost, i just try to get everything money neutrl throughtout the year. Its addictive , if i had to pay full price for anything i`d be gutted.

moneypenny i missed the usa posting, didnt realise it was so soon, i have two cards to post, OH took them in today and it was £4.28 for one so, i told him to bring it back and i`ll make a different one.

sugarspun - sorry to hear about Dh, did the house move go ok, and are you settled.

CDsmiler - did you get the DVD as I`ve decided to post it to you as i dont need two lol , if you did get one I can pass it on to someone else...lol
Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income

Susan - Nice to see you back again, hope everything went well and glad the hospital was nice. The one OH's Dad was in was lovely in the special care bit but when he was put on the normal ward to wait being sent home it wasn't that nice there. Still he only had to stay the one more night and then he came home next morning. It is quiet here without OH, seems funny not having to sort out his dinner etc. The dog still sits and waits by the front door when its his normal time for him to come home from work. He has been ringing me when he gets a chance, his firm gave him a Blackberry to use so I can email him on that too. I also found out today that I can send him a text message to his normal phone for free but if he texts me back it costs him 50p so we are going to do it that he texts me using the Blackberry and then I text him back to his normal phone.

I got the parcel from the post office, it was the bits for Son's Thai hamper. There were two gift sets after all, one had two of those square shaped oriental bowls in white like they put the noodles in (there's a photo on the front of the recipe book of one so will go with that) and the other set contains a larger square serving plate with some feet to go under it also in white, and two sets of black chopsticks. The sets came from M&S originally. The boxes are a bit tatty but I intended to take them out of the packs anyway and put them in the hamper. I paid just under £4 altogether for them so I reckon it was a bargain.

I also had another small parcel came. It was a ring for YD with a scrabble letter (her intial) on it. They seem to be all the rage at the moment. I paid 99p for it including pp from a seller on EB and it will be a nice extra present.
