Susan - thanks hun, got 2 more rehearsals and feeling very nervous lol!

Not done much in terms of xmas over the last few days as I have had a lot of family problems and I feel so stressed out. It's horrible Anyway, moan over!

Another day of drilling and racket :eek: Still, its starting to look a bit like a kitchen.............sadly no electrics till Tuesday and plumbers coming Monday so then we'll have a proper sink...........its getting there ! Doesn't everything get so messy when jobs like this are being done...............dust and muck seems to just spread !
Can't think about christmas stuff while all this is going on.............no room to do anything anyway. Mind you, I'm nearly there.......just a case of sorting out who's having what of the kitchen and bathroom stuff I don't want any more...............lol

Hey all

Decided to cheer myself up by making some mince pies, my first one's this year! It worked, the whole house smelled festive and they were very yummy lol!

I also found £32 clubcard vouchers in an old bag which is a bonus as didn't even know I had them - I wonder if Tesco will do the double your clubcard vouchers on toys and clothes like they have done in the past, be handy if they did.

Anyway, hope everyone is well and enjoying the weekend. It's been very quiet on here today.

Kitchen cupboards in (apart from the 'missing' ones-looks like they'll be done later this week.
Least it looks like a kitchen now even though we can't use it yet................lol

Just seen another thread that reminded me its 10 weeks to Christmas :eek: Panic stations !!!! Be a last minute scrap at the rate I'm going...........stuffs here (if I can find it !) but needs sorting, wrapping etc.

oh and I'm not being creative..........been googling for a hallf way decent fleece (cheap) then found coat on Matalan............think I need OH's approval............lol
Now need to find some ideas of how to use kitchen -sort of create some sort of design with them.......lol

Evening all

I have been creating Susan lol. I went up after lunch to see if I could design a bag for YD for Christmas. I want one that is big enough to carry her books and folders to college. I have cut out the bits and have been machine quilting the outer bits with some thick wadding and some interfacing to try to get the bits of fabric to have some body to them so the bag isn't all floppy. I am making it up as I go along so heavens knows what it will turn out like lol. I am used to doing simple shopping type bags and the shoulder bags I make but not tried anything like this before. I hope it goes all right at the hospital, will be thinking of you xx

Mary, glad the cupboards are getting there, it will be lovely when it is all finished, lucky you having a new kitchen!!
