    Hello all :j

Angela - we've had so much 'negative' stress lately having a new kitchen put in would at least be the 'positive'' sort........I can cope with that and builder's due in a weeks time anyway to put a downstairs loo in plus few other bits so while he's here making a mess he might as well make a bigger one.............lol

Knitting come on ok..........quite pleased with it -just hope son likes it.............lol
OH feeling less depressed today. Had two more blood tests yesterday, expect they'll do another today. Doctors have been round -well the junior ones -maybe consultants having a long weekend playing golf ! So doubt we'll know much today -or over the weekend come to that.
He's resigned himself to a ''lie in'' if they ever think they'll send him home before he feels ready..........lol

    Hope you're all ok.:)

nannyboo -I'll have a look at that link later on

I'm sorry I haven't caught up earlier - I'm back from hols, but will read what I missed tomorrow. My eyes are going squiffy from looking at the computer too long. Must be my age. LOL

Anyway, I just came on to post about someting I saw on grabbit - there is a end of season toy sale on a Tesco and lots of items are half price. There is also a 20% off code, but it takes it off the full price, meaning they are an even better bargain. :)

Hope all is well Mary with you

As for me, bought an apple tree today (patio size) for £8.66 instead of £14 full price to go with mum's garden hamper - she's been on about getting one all year and when I saw this I thought get it now, look after it and tie a ribbon around it for Christmas as part of the hamper.

Also found a good lucking trug too so will get this next month then the garden hamper is almost done apart from a pot of bulbs and a nice decorative pot for them to go into

Also found a pedometer she's been after so will get that too next month to go alongside the winter walking kit of winter trax I bought last year, pedometer and will get a new winter hat, scarf and gloves for her too when she walks the dog

    Hello all :j

    Just re-read posts
Rufus - you have had a time of it. Know the feeling. My son and his partner split up when the twins were small but luckily she did say he could see them regularly which he has done and now they're 18 they have a good relationship though the boy is a problem.........said he'd go on holiday with his dad and girlfriend and youngest grandson and at the last minute changed his mind and went off with his mum instead.........meant my son was out of pocket which he could ill afford to be.

Just got back from hospital........OH looks well and when we left he got his crutches and walked to the entrance with us.........think he began to wish he hadn't even though it wasn't far. I think sat in bed he felt he could do more than he really could. I've left him the kitchen catalogue to stop him getting bored while he's waiting for the other blood test results and it might take his mind off things a bit.
I'm seeing him again Tuesday night -might know something more then, hopefully.

    Hope you're all ok:)

***Sticks head in Sheepishly*** Hello Everyone

I was wondering if it would be ok if I came back to the fold despite being AWOL for quite some months, had a lot going on which I wont bore you with and staying caught up with MSE was stressing me out.

Work has decided to close our site and make us travel over an hour each way as a commute, I put in for Voluntary Redundancy and found out last week that they have authorised it and my leave date will be sometime in December. Just in time for :xmastree:NICE! So I need to get back to being a good girl and planning, Christmas won't be quite what it usually is but at least with the fab ideas I know you guys have it should be still nice.

    Hello all :j

Well, now I don't know what to think. Last night about 9pm they moved OH to another ward -had to be the same ward where he was sent home too soon and they lost his bone strengthening tablets so he's not happy being there and nor am I.
They weighed him a bit ago and he's lost 20lb ! :eek:So now he's going frantic over why thats happened.
I've got a lift in tomorrow night so might find out something then.

On the plus side (musnt be negative all the time) I made a button necklace this morning !! Got my red and cream ones out to do a sort of ''festive'' one. Not sure who its for..........think I did one for everyone last year...........lol:rotfl:

    Hope you're all ok:)

Hiya TQ and Pips Mum. So good to see you here again. Of course you are both welcome to join in. Christmas planning is coming along slowly but surely, and it'll be here before we know. :)

Mary - don't worry too much about the weight. It's understandable OH will lose weight, he's been through the mill and probably not eating much. I know the not exercising much should cancel each other out if you see what I mean, but it's not enough to worry about at this stage - just concentrate on getting him better, rather than on what's wrong.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. :) I MUST look back and find the challenges. I still haven't done it yet.
