    Hi everyone,

Challenge - I've decluttered and changed around a few areas in the kitchen (drinks, jars, cutlery) so things are easier to find.

There are a few more things I hope to do in there before the month is out.

Other room, should do more work on my bedroom, cluttered with paperwork files and interesting stuff I need to find a home for.

 just realised I'm going to be late for the dentist, got the time mixed up so will comment on other posts later

oh mary that hospital really takes the biscuit. hugs to you and your DH and i hope that he is SOON out of pain. im sure your son will love the card.

started on our bedroom this morning as my challenge room, but i found some embrodery silks that should live in the cupboard under the stairs so had everything out of there sorted my sewing stuff and organised all my dmc silks into the folders id bought and put everything neatly back into the cupboard then it was dinner time (luckily DH wanted to finish last nights hm pizza that was too filling so that was just a reheat) found a load of christmas squirrel in our wardrobe so that all now in the "squirrel box" in the attic but the piles of clothes that i put on the bed at 7.30 this morning when i made a start are all still there. in short its aken me 8 hours and ive not really done anything ive only come down to refill my tea mug as it was baking in the attic so i feel dehydrated now. got 2 hours till DH comes home to get the clothes in the wardrobe and make it look like ive done something today.

hope everyones elses day has ben more productive

Mrs Moneypenny - I know exactly what you mean about the time just rolling by and it not looking like you have done anything even though you have been at it all day. So many times I too make a start on sorting out one thing then it leads onto something else and so on and the original thing you started gets left.

In our spare room I sorted all the bed out the other day. We dont have a mattress for it yet so I folded all our spare duvets and laid them on it and then put a covered duvet over the top so it looked nice. The bed is now full of piles of things that need sorting out again, I dont know where it all comes from lol. As fast as I put it all away another lot appears.

  • Mum2One - Thank you for the challenges i am going to get onto them asap

Sugarspun- fab new about your OH. What a relief

Mary - So sorry you OH has had a relapse. I hope the CT scan is positive for you both.

I have got lots done last week. I have all the bits for 2 of my nieces hampers (1 Disneybell Tinkerbell and 1 x Disney Princessses) and the boxes. Just need tissue and cello wrap to finish them off.

Brought lots of bits in the sales and glitches going on which is great as i have such a large family to buy for.

I am going to get my girls a small wooden chest each (from a Ebay Seller) for their hampers as they all love keeping nic nacks in boxes but just wondering how to decorate the boxes? What paint do i use? Should i varnish after i have painted them and also can i glue on pictures/cut outs then varnish over them? I am not very arty but i would love to make each of my girls a really nice box each.

Sending good thoughts to Mr Mary.

Challenge-wise, I have listed 120 items on ebay (turbo lister for upload on Friday) and sixteen books on Amazon, plus I cleared the dining table of crap. My DH saw the clean space as an opportunity to do some half-ar*ed filing so it is covered again, but I tried.
