Thanks for the tip mum2one. I might pop to the shops later and see if there's any in ours, but it's only small.

How's everyone today? I hope you and your OH's are doing well. Hopefully it'll be a nice weekend - that'll make a change! :)

Went to Wilkos and hardly anything was 75% off. Did see some rather lovely kitchen things which I will get in a month or so.

Found some nice trugs on amazon last night so will have a look over the next few months to get one alongside the seed tin

Mint syrup making today I think and some gardening this afternoon and maybe some rhubarb relish making later on

    Husband's home :D

    How's Mr Mary?

    And Miss Hoodie?

I'm very impressed and jealous of all the Wilkinsons bargains. Was messing about on the M&S page yesterday, their free delivery over £50 code was working based on subtotal before discounts, so all the 50% toys were triggering it. I got stuff for my nephew's birthday (2012 :o) and now for 2012 I need a husband birthday/anniversary/Fathers Day/Christmas gift, plus Father's Day and Christmas gifts for my dad, a birthday gift for one nephew and a main Christmas gift for my monster and that's next year sorted too. I've spent £94.70 on next year and that's 30 gifts :money: Plus I've surpassed money neutral already for this year and can put this year's bonus money towards next year's gifts - so far £47.36 which I make to be precisely one penny over halfway, which is a nice coincidence :D

Husband's birthday gift will likely be quite expensive (looking at a Samsonite cabin-sized suitcase as his is falling apart), anniversary is 3rd so planning a leather-covered kaleidoscope, Father's Day will probably be a cute picture drawn by Wee Beastie and framed (probably the same for my dad), then I don't know about the kids.
Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

    Hello all :j
Saw OH last night and he seemed much brighter. Still has ''poo bag'' (don't know what else to call it) but nurse said it should just be temporary till stomach settles.
Saw doctor !!! They do exist !! Only taken a week !!
He explained what was done, said that should be an end to it but course no guarantee. OH may go onto a ward over the weekend but doctor told me to insist he's not discharged too early and not to allow him home till I feel he''s fit and can look after him.
I'll do just that............wave my walking sticks if I have to...................lol
Phoned this morning and he had good night, sitting out of bed and could have got there on his own if it weren't for tubes and things. Some been taken out but not all of them. Having day off today and seeing him tomorrow with foster daughter.

fedup - amazing what you can do with a gravy tub covered with christmas paper..........I love ''em............lol Make really cheap pressie. I've filled them with free samples of beauty stuff to make a ''pamper pot'' and chocs or sweets........socks for a ''sock pot'' or socks in a small jam jar with pretty lid become ''sock jam''.

    Hope you're all ok:)

    Hello all :j
    Happy Birthday Elysia

Saw OH lunchtime.............he's still waiting for side room to be empty on a normal ward then he'll be moved. Seemed almost back to normal self. No need for oxygen or heart monitor now which is a good sign but still needs bag attachment and getting a bit grumpy about that ! Can't blame him.
He's told me he's no intention of coming home before he feels well fit and ready........relief ! I don't want him home too soon before he's ok for me to cope with and care for.

Quick look in Dunhelm mills on the way home but had headache so didn't stay in there long.........too much stuff and too many people ! Foster daughter got some blinds for her nursery........nice ones with jungle animals on.
Maybe tomorrow I'll feel like actually doing something..............mind you I keep saying that don't I.................lol:rotfl: Maybe I'm just getting lazy:)

    Hope you're all ok:)

Oh........C**p !! Little kitchen radio is on the blink...........have to google to find another one :(
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
