Just posting this on here too, incase anyone misses it.

Theres also an offer on the Grabbit for a three month museum pass, (takes us into the beginning of the summer hols) for free. OK I know museums are boring for the kids but it depends what's near you - we have Blists Hill (not near but not too far) It's a Victorian Living Museum and it makes history come alive, and the kids love it. It's expensive too, and if you can get in for free what more could you ask for. LOL There are 200 places over the Uk, so there's sure to be some near you. :)

Here it is. Sign up with a separate email for each person. ;)

couldn't remember oif I said thank you for the link, ordered for us, then sent the link along in a few emails, even sent it to Miss Hoodies grandparenst (Irish) they were over the moon with it. xx

Not a bad day, did a carboot, thou getting up at 5.30am, not good!! Think the weather put a lot of people off, and the dozy person who put the advert in, they didn't say it was the school just the area!! We had 20 cars. I made £16....... thats now gone in the prague fund, and Miss hoodie made £8. (free table as well so that all helps).

Miss Hoodie had her ballet exam today, all prim and proper bless her, she should pass.

Did have a productive Sat afternoon, gutted the dining room corner, and the bookcase, dd sorted out some books etc - either be ebay, sell on, managed to recycle couple of games for presents as she hadn't unwrapped them, so thats 2 less to buy for.
Back to the studying - just got m end of course assisgnment to do for sports course, then I get a break till sept. xx

Thanks for the link Elysia, I was too late though and they have ammended the glitch. Serves me right for not coming on here enough.

Did my first order with hotprints last week and was really impressed. I did a book for my Grans birthday who has alzheimer's and put all the family members in as she loves to look at pictures and I was hoping it might help her remember who we are on her bad days. Did others too and thinking it would be a cheaper way of having my photos developed each month (I take A LOT).

Have had relatives down last week and my house looks awful so doing a big clean today, think it might take me longer than a day mind, especially with 2 little people running around messing it up behind me!!

    Hope all are well

What's the problem with OH's stomach Mary? I get bad stomach cramping (definitely in stomach nothing to do with monthlys) I've been suffering for almost a year now - they've carted me off in ambulance three times now - but can't find anything.

Sorry you both missed the code Rufus and Stepmum. It was for £20 off. I received my order this morning, but DD1 had her order cancelled as they found the glitch.

Well done on the carboot Mum2one - I bet you were disappointed there weren't many customers but every penny helps.

elysia - from what I can gather from him (you know men !!) it's a sort of pain you get with constipation. He's had it before and was so bad I got the duty doctor out couple of weeks ago and he told him to cut down his morphine based tablets and take this medicine our own gp had given him on a daily basis and not just when he thinks he might need it as it takes a few days to work. Then he gave him suppositories so he was in the loo nearly all night. He's very reluctant to go through that again and can't blame him.So, he's cut out the morphine stuff, takes the other stuff every day but doesn't seem to be doing much good today.
He's not very mobile and think that makes a difference...........I'm more mobile than him at the minute. He's laying on the bed now and thinks he feels a bit better............mind you he said that when I said I'd ring the duty doctor............I'll see what tomorrow brings I think.
Plus he's generally fed up with everything.......the not being mobile, stomach problems etc. His painkilers have been changed to effervesent ones and that does make a difference normally but I bed there's something in them that ''may cause constipation''............isn't there always.

My youngest son (in his 30's now) has had stomach problems for a few years now and been back and forth to his gp........now he's waiting for tests on his bowel.............gp thinks it might be irritable bowel syndrome.......why he's not been sent for tests before is beyond me.

    Ooops............sorry for long post.

Hope you don't mind me being cheeky re stomach cramps, is there a possibility it could be IBS (irratible bowel syndrome), the weird thing with mine is sometimes I'll have the long stay in the reading room!!, other times get stomach cramps, - almost like monthlys, but no movement. Might be worth looking into that. You can get some anti-cramping tablets from most pharmaices. I have a 3 day course from doctor in stock, so if I get back cramps, dose up then repeat prescription.

Mary -hope hubby goes on ok, the garden sounds fab xx
