Mum2one, your life is just one long adventure, and there was me thinking eclairs were soft.

Re your DD, it seems shocking what her friend was writing on Facebook, but I suppose because children are now on the same sites as adults it all looks normal to them.

Well I haven't got anything for Mother's Day sorted yet and this week I recieved a solicitors letter right out of the blue which has put me out of sync. So it's my turn now ladies I noticed a few of you have mentioned it in the past.

Had a really good night tonight, took dad to the theatre, the play was a bit weird, there only 4 actors and dark thriller, good - thou I've broke a flaming tooth on a chocolate eclair, so got to ring the dentist in the morning, know they say life begins at 40, but didn't expect the 1st day to on the phone to the dentiist, - guess I'm leaving 39 behind with a bang!! xx

    Hello all :j

    _party_ mum2one - happy birthday !!!! :T
    oh to be 40 again................lol

I went out today !!!! Cleaner took me to the supermarket in her car to get a few bits we needed (wine for OH for a start.......lol) and I managed to walk round the shop with my sticks :T
Mind you I knew I'd done it when I got home......back and legs now aching like mad !! Still, it was nice to get out. I was starting to think I'd be indoors for that long I'd be frightened to face the outside world but I really enjoyed it.

MIL got her mums day pressie yesterday.......only ordered it on Sunday off Grabbit board.....she opened it not realising what it was............lol

Must start thinking of stuff to make for other birthdays coming up........and christmas !!
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM2ONE XXXXX

Hi everyone......well knee is recovering but I am still in more pain now than I was before the op!!!
On the stop smoking front ....I have finally done it and got rid of the patches. Been without the patches since Sunday. I read Alan Carrs Easyway book and that really helped me. I am NEVER smoking again!!

I am managing to get about a bit more now with the help with one crutch. Hopefully will switch to my stick next week

    Much love to all xxx

Nicky - I found out how to order the monkey mug, thanks for telling me you could get it free as it made me have another look. I was using an old email from months ago as it had quite a few things on it that I wanted but tonight I have used a newer email and managed to get it free. I ordered a tshirt for one grandson too and a pen for myself. Didnt have anything else on the email that I fancied so didnt bother with another item and didnt bother going through TCB as although most of my orders have tracked I didnt want it to change them to being paid for items now I had them free, still came to less than £5 so pleased with that. Will try to get another mug and tshirt next time using the same email and see if it works again as I want another one of each.

My SIL gave me a big bag of fabrics today that she didnt want, really happy with it all. One piece is right colour to go with what I am collecting for my Dad's quilt so a bit more towards that. They are having a special customer evening at out local quilting shop next Tuesday evening so she said she will take me over and I can then get the rest of the stuff I need as they have some on offer on those nights. Looking forward to it as not really been able to get out much with this bad leg. I know how you feel now Mary, its horrible being stuck in doors relying on others to get you out and about. Still, its a bit better today than it was yesterday, not a lot but a slight improvement.

Was having another look at the latest denim quilt I made, it is for my youngest niece and I was thinking it looked a bit too "old" for her so I am now thinking of making some fabric flowers or something similar to add to the quilt to make it a bit more girly. May be I can do that while sitting down stairs while I cant get on the sewing machine, will have to have a think.
