    Hi all

mum2one, what a way to spend your birthday at the dentist.

I think your biggest worry isn't about excess luggage but Miss Hoodie staying well by Tuesday, going by past experiences.

Esmer - I complaned about the poor quality of a canvas bag, they sent me out another with their apologies which was just as bad. I had used a high quality photograph too which was disappointing. I hear their own designs are good printed up though. I know I have mentioned the a few times, but funky pigeon do brilliant notebooks and the quality of photo products are brilliant.

Thanks, I will just leave it then. Mum will be pleased with the bag.

I made up a lovely bag for her god mum, a paper bag all decorated with a mug, pen, notebook a little love heart box of praeline chocs. and Natasha got a kit for xmas and we had made little photo frames for the fridge, so I put a photo in it and wrapped it all up. Hope she likes it.

For mum, i put Thortons in her canvas bag, photo frame as well, notebook, keyring, and pen. Im going to take mum out for dinner when its not a rip off and im less busy with moving the house. Will take her to my fav restaurant for lunch :)

I do hope they love their presents. I better get onto making my dads now. Already have a mug. :T

    Thank you, getting orgainsed slowly!!

I know someone thou as usual the name evades me, one of nice ladies either this or sister thread, they complained and they said Vista Print were brilliant and had them a free replacement within 3 days, was really impressed, sounds daft, but with it being freebie - always wonder what they'd be like xx
Might have been me with the mug that came delivered broken, they replaced that within three days with no extra cost to myself which I thought was brilliant. Might not be the same for bad quality photo as for damaged item, worth a try though xx

Couldn't even think of walking round the store, not after the little co-op on Thursday so I was wheeled round in style..............lol
Foster daughter taking me to boot fair tomorrow -in chair again. (weather permitting)

    Xmas Saver!
Yes we def need fingers crossed, - thou weird as usally when it the hol starts in school hols - I think I made up for it this time!!
Survived our train journey - very orgainsed, had hair cut, lunch at Wetherspoons had the most gorgeous pint raspberry cider, - didn't realise Miss Hoodie had been texting mum (they were driving up with bulk of the luggage - we had empty suitcases!!), moaning at her how awful it was we were stranded waiting for them, and she was having to have her dinner in the pub!! (she thought it was brilliant winding mum up - won't say what mother said!!)

Sorted out the credit card - nightmare - rang last week, saving, surveying etc like mad - when rang they said pay cash in branch register in 2 hrs - did that - rang the card company last night - no its 2 to 3 days - luckly they had notes under the file - spoke to a lovely manager - he apologised and said he'd try and sort it but he was day off Sat! - but bless him, he said print off the direct costings - if can't get it sorted before tues, book in resort and any difference I'll personally authorise we're pay u the difference. Really shocked - he left the details with the girl who spoke to last ngt - bless her she got it sorted so booked trips 2ngt - thou not nice phone cost!! if phoned from home been about £4.00, cost me £35 on my mobile, but all sorted, and the bloke who took the booking was so sweet, the trips were £500, and he's thrown in some free lunches, gave me extra discounts and booked us for early pick ups get full day at the park - haven't told Miss Hoodie its 8am pick up, get her up 6.30am - which on hols is sleep time!!
heading for quick look round local market tomorrow, lucky where we are right by home bargains - so going to nip in for veet etc (cheaper than boots) - the legs look like carpet - hense been trs for last 2 weeks!! xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Morning all, laughed at legs like carpet haha.

I managed to do a bit of sewing yesterday after all although think I over did it and leg was sore again after. Still I now have a skirt and top set for GDD's birthday (pic on blog) and have got a pair of shorts ready, just need to sew up the top to go with them for another set, then I am going to make another shorts and top set.

Off to the crem in a bit to take some flowers for my Mum. then youngest daughter is coming home (spent night at her friends). Not sure whether I will hear from other two, they are terrible when it comes to Mothers day or birthdays, but we will see. If not I can always get a bit more sewing done as OH off to see his Mum.

hi everyone, thank you for your well wishes

mum2one - the things you get upto. Thers so much going on I have a job to keep up ... :D you should be like my step son, he takes hardly anything just hand luggage. He had a problem though when he went to Dom Rep. He wears crocs everywhere and while he was snorkling someone stole them from the beach so he had to get a taxi bare footed to a shop, what a carry on , he had to buy new shoes as he didnt have a spare pair

esmer - that was nice of your ex.....

    happy mothers day everyone,

the dog just got me a card, flowers and sunglasses, its amazing how they know what youd like..:rotfl:

rufus - you take it easy with that leg

    mary - hope your coping...

we all like a bunch of crocks :rotfl: i have the hospital monday and weds. I feel fine now though and keep telling them to keep appointments for people who need them, but my blood tests keep giving weird results and they`re confused, (so am I , never felt so well) When I went last week my disc in my back had come out and was struggling to walk, its a normal day in my life but they wanted to admit me:eek: , do i need pain clinic...etc etc, told them to read notes, tried it all happy as I am, did i want pain killers, allergic to all of those...they make me laugh they try their best but perhaps I should carry an A4 sheet around telling them its all normal..:D

hi nicky and savvy and everyone i`ve missed out :o

Susan - you do make me smile - all of those things wrong and you're still happy, and get one with it. How did the dog know you wanted Sunglasses? I tell you, they must have a sixth sense, my dog bought me some cakes. :)

Mum2one - it sounds like you've been through a nightmare lately. Just what you didn't need! You'll need a holiday to get over preparing for the holiday.

Mary - sorry to hear you and OH are no better. You have a lovely day, and take it easy.

Rufus - Happy Mother's day. I hope your leg is easier soon too. I'll take a look at your blog in a mo. You are so clever making all these lovely things. I wish I could. :(

Toothfairy - I glad you're still not smoking - well done. That's brilliant!!!.

Hiya to everyone else I missed. I hope you're all having a lovely day and being thouroughly spoilt. Take care xxx

    Hello all :j
Hope you're all having a great day !

Foster daughter took me to local boot fair this morning............got three evergreens for the garden, she's me a jasmine for the garden thats supposed to be really hardy and survive winter so I'm making a start on things. Her sister has a stall at the boot fair and gave me a bag of wooden ball type things to sit in a bowl......sort of ''country'' type things if you know what I mean..........and she gave me a racing track game with two grannies in wheelchairs.............lol:rotfl: That should be fun to play with.............lol
Ordered garden table and chairs from warehouse and found delivery is £50 !!!!! Gobsmacked or what -still I've ordered them..........I know a man with a van who'll collect them for me if they won't go in foster daughters car. Had to get them before the offer ran out on 6th..........they were such a good price.
Done some more to my knitting...................lol Got to get this navy wool OH got me used up somehow.............lol
He says he feels bit better today though he had a bit of a rough night -well, early morning -and he's bored out of his brain. Not a hobbies person at all.........he must have read the paper four times...........now he's watching the tele......lol
But we're coping...............thanks to good friends and ready meals................lol:)
