    Hello all,

Just dropping in quickly to say that I hope you all have a lovely weekend (and mum2one that you or any member of your family doesn't have any more bathroom related incidents!!).

Absolutely unproductive today. Plus just watched the Rich in the Slums Comic Relief program from last night on iPlayer. Oh my word.

Anyway, need to make a bracelet for my mum ready for her birthday next week. Already got her a door stop (around £5) and a DS game that she wanted which after using vouchers came to 53p!!

Right, I shall love you and leave you all!

Clare - you reminded me I bought loads of beads etc before Christmas which I havent even started using yet, might be able to make some bits up as extras for the girls for Christmas.

Had another Vista order arrive yesterday, mug, bag and notebook, only ordered the three things on this one as got in a right muddle with it. Have two more already ordered. All of them have tracked on TCB so nice amount in there waiting to see if it all gets paid in the end.

    Hi Clare

I get my cello bags from Wilkinsons card making section: they have 3 different sizes I think, and they are £1.05 for 25, so 4p each. Nice quality too, not too flimsy. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I will need to take a look.

I have to chase Top Cash Back, it never tracks. But they have honoured them. :) Much better than quidco. Who honoured them for a while and then pulled back. :(

My Vista order has been despatched early :) I have a Kering, Notepad matching Pen and Thank You post cards. :)

Next order is for Fathers Day. I really want that Collage Mug by then.

    ITS SNOWING HERE :rotfl:

  • Mum2one - Hope ur ok lovey xxx HUGS xxx

Love to everyone else.....I will try to catch up.
Had op yesterday and although it went ok (had a reaction to GA) the surgeon said it was worse than he thought and I will eventually need a knee replacement but not yet cos I am too young apparently (39!!). I was so nervous I had 3 panic attacks and burst into tears in front of everyone!!!
I am being waited on hand and foot but not sure I like it!! lol I fel out of control atm.
Bandage to come off tomorrow night and change dressings then off to docs in 10 days to check wound site then back to hospital in 6 weeks for meeting to find out what is next. So no marathons for me lol
Off to uni interview with DD on friday but we have a wheelchair for that as it is in Brighton.
Other than that just going to rest up as the doc said to do!!!
Catching up on surveys atm but keep getting screened out grrrr

    Much love to all xxxx

Toothfairy - glad the op went well. I was the same as you when I went in for my first op on my arm, I was so scared of having the anaesthetic, I cried for ages before going down and had a panic attack when on the table as they were getting me ready. Was ok after though, had to have two other ops in the end another on my arm and one on my shoulder. One of them I came round and they gave me some morphine as I was in so much pain but it made me feel really sick so they gave me an injection to stop the sickness and I had a bad reaction to it, came out in hives and was shaking for about an hour and a half after.

Good luck with the surveys, I have been checking on and off all day and have managed a few. Rufus xx

toothfairy - glad the op went ok.:) Dont worry, you're not the only one to burst into tears like that.....GA has that effect on me.
Know what you mean about not being in control........thats how I feel at the minute and not much I can do about it. Keep telling myself I'll be lady of leisure but it doesn't work...........normally I hate housework and stuff domestic but cos I can''t do it I have this daft urge too grab a duster.............lol:rotfl:
